I was lucy to get a big doble room on the top floor with both window and veranda. The beed was good, air condition as well. You have to pay extra for the safe. The bathroom was ok, not new, but clean. Smelt bad sometimes. Busstop just outside , you can absolute hear them. Garden with nice pool and a bar. The hotel has rooms on the ground floor in a seperate building facing the pool, I have no idea how those rooms are, but I felt very safe on the top floor in the main building.

We arrived at nearly midnight so everything was closed ,but the lovely man on reception got us some cups ,water and milk so we could use our tea bags . Breakfast was excellent lots of choices , not so keen on dinner but we managed .Had to call maintenance man due to problems with sockets , amazing service ,he was there in under 5 minutes and fixed problem .Staff are very nice and Hotel is really laid back ,and serves great Pina Coladas . It's on a very busy road so can be noisy ,but if you close window and put air conditioning on you can't hear the traffic .2 minutes to lovely beach .

Room tip: High floor.

Second stay at this hotel within 3 years. All good. Room of a good size overlooking the pool. Mostly always sunbeds available around the pool . Lovely food in the restaurant . Good choice at breakfast and dinner for such a small hotel. Always hot. Staff at the hotel very nice. A few points
1. Turn the music up at the pool bar slightly. We didn't want it blaring but the atmosphere at the pool was a little dull.
2. Your signs at the pool say no reserving sunbeds but people were, even though there was no need. If sunbeds have towels on and are not occupied by 10 am they should be removed. PLEASE ENFORCE THE NO SUNBED RESERVATION RULE.
3. Charging 21 euros a week for a safe is a little over the top . I would say 10-12 maximum is sufficient. Otherwise everything is good and I would highly recommend a stay at the Itaca.

Room tip: All rooms good . Ask them to enforce the no reservation for sunbeds when you are there. Life is so much easier.

I stayed here in 2016 with a group of friends. The rooms were super and the beds very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. As a result we booked again and stayed in October 2017. Four of us were put into poolside chalets which were very small. Annoying especially after last year. Hard to get a drink or snack at the bar. Friends who stayed in the hotel rooms complained about lack of hot water. Generally felt service was getting worse. Overall we like the hotel and location and a few small changes could make it so much better. We would like to book again this year but they cannot guarantee that some of us might end up in the chalets again. It's like they don't really care because someone will book anyway. It would be nice if they recognised our loyalty...isn't that what customer service is about?

Room tip: It seems you can't specify a room/floor

Although location was ok but balcony faced a very busy road by traffic lights noise did not cease till 4am.Hotel a bit dated only lights available were over the bed each time you turned over lights turned on or off not enough plugs in room wardrobe well had only one door safe inside thought 21Euros for wk was a bit pricey tv would have been ok if it worked reported to reception did not get fixed. All the receptionists were very helpful and could speak English, however in the restaurant completely opposite it was hard work asking for anything we were in a party of five managed to get a table for all of us but everyday they had to set another place for the fifth person .Food no labels guessing game most of which was poor quality breakfast overall was ok. Swimming pool and surrounding areas were clean plenty of sun beds and umbrellas due to the fact we felt most people were in transit only staying one or two nights no entertainment and no atmosphere we booked through Onthe Beach our transfers were Jumbo Tours good service from Airport to hotel but excellent going back

Room tip: Overlooking the pool
