We stayed a week this Easter, on the top 10th floor facing the sea. Fabulous view, great room, free wifi internet, tv with English programmes like Sky News and CNN. Staff are very helpful, breakfast just great - two fried eggs with bacon and toast, juice and coffee - perfect.
Balcony had two chairs and a table, filled with sunshine, and so relaxing - with a view to die for, see the pics attached. We booked using the easyJet website flying into Malaga Airport, which provided the hotel transfer bus as well. Recommended.

We spent one week at La Jabega in April 2012. The main asset of this hotel is its place at the beach. The lobby and the restaurant downstairs are also ok. The rooms and balconies are spacious. But, but. The rooms are quite outdated and in need of paint and new designs. The old-fashioned furniture is spread around the room in a strange way - we had to move things around quite a bit to even create a twin bed. The kitchen is really rudimentary. Don't plan any dinners here. Good for cooking water. The walls are very thin. We had a group of Swedish teens keeping us awake one night - and they were two rooms from ours. We would not stay here again.

Room Tip: Opt for a room at the seaside front - they have balconies with more privacy.

Stayed here for seven nights over Easter in April 2012. Hotel is front line on the promenade and I understand that all rooms have a sea view. Rooms are specious enough and have self catering facilities which are fine for making breakfast and lunch.

I really liked have meals on the balcony overlooking the Med and beach.

Hotel is in a very nice area called Los Boliches, which is full of excellent bars, tapas bars and restuarants- you are spolit for choice. The Port area which is built in Moorish style is also very nice and is about 10-15 minures walk away.

I shall definately be back at some point soon- really enjoyed this break

Room Tip: Great if you want to be in the centre of everything Fuegorolia has to offer

We stayed here for a friend Hen Weekned in early April 2012.
The hotel is clean and tidy. The rooms very large and we had a huge balcony.
As the hotel has no pool there is no sunbathing there unless you are happy to be on the beech which is oppoisite the hotel so you dont have to walk far. The sunbeds on the beech are reasonable too.
The bar staff were very friendly and helpful and entertainment looked good although we didn't watch as we were out in the bars and clubs.
Reception was helpful and dealt with any problems asap.
Would recommend to anyone looking for a cheap beech holiday.

Room Tip: Corner Suites sleep 4 and have a huge balcony

Hotel right on the beach. Wonderful as long as you don't want to lie by the pool, as there isn't one, unless you count the sea across the road from the hotel. The rooms are spacious with lovely big balconies and we were on the seventh floor with views of the sea and the mountains!
Weren't too keen on the entertainment which was a bit dated, but loads of people seemed to like it - holidaymakers and locals.
When we arrived, late at night, our balcony door wouldn't lock. We reported it to reception and it was repaired next morning.
There's a big supermarket just round the corner, with everything you need. There's a wonderful Spanish fish restaurant right on the beach, called "The Anthony Verdana" who do a tasty fish soup and we found a lovely wee Irish Bar, owned by an Irishman, not far from La Jabega called Toms.
Fuengirola is a great place if you like walking. It's so flat and there's so much to see. This was our 5th time here and we had done all the excursions on previous holidays, so spent our time relaxing. Being Easter there were loads of parades which were lovely to see.

Room Tip: A high floor is recommended as the traffic and revellers can be quite noisy.

I would like to repeat everything that was said on 23/3/12 (“wonderful holiday) Hotel ideally situated for Beach, Railway Station, Buses etc. Supermarket & many other shops, bars & rest..
They even supplied curtesy room so we could get a shower before our flight home even towels at no extra cost. It was only mini break for my husband & I but we loved it & Im sure we will be going back later this year for a week this time.

Just returned from a fantastic stay in La Jabega.
Checking in was fine Manuel went through all the necessary bits and pieces, 30euro deposit for your remote controls which was returned and 10 euros deposite for your safe with a daily rate on top. Room was on the 9th floor and was East facing side which was great as you had the sun all afternoon till about 8.00pm so you could comeback from the beach and have a couple of hours on the balcony which are spacious. the rooms are a bit old fashioned style furniture but on enquirying they had recently renewed a lot of furniture with identical style so you have lots of drawer space. The rest as I say was dated but kept clean, the cleaners were great in every day fussing about.
Did a trip to Gibraltar 18 euros but shop about after we had booked we found a agent at the Square next door to the chinese restaurant and 2.5 euroshop for 15 euros so shop about a bit for excursions.
The train was great 2 euros each and bused it down to Marebella.
If you are looking for some where to eat try The Sandpiper just down from the Yarimar hotel, Andy the waiter is the star attraction he is brilliant, the food is very good with a choice of menus. Also recommend Cosquins the Argentina restaurant excellent mixed grill for two ( I actually ate it all myself ) and at 19.99 euros great value for money.
Had the odd snack in the hotel all was okay entertainment was good with different artists in each night.

Overall a excellent stay in Los Boliches and although not having a pool there is a big pool right on you doorstep which they call the Med.

Thanks La Jabega

Room Tip: Ask for a east facing room if you want that bit more sunshine and also make sure the balcony door is...
