Booked with airtours but never came accross the rep, arrived to be told to wait in reception for two hours after a travelling since 3am, no info provided by hotel about facilities or anything else, found the staff cold, miserable and ignorant at mealtimes and had money snatched out of my hand when i asked to buy water at meal time, meal times were like a zoo and spanish adults tended to jostle my son out of the way or tread on his feet, food was mostly mixes, v poor choice but improved more when chef appeared from a few days absence, charged 1 euro for small lagers one day then shot up to 1:50 the next day at pool bar, with no explanation, full of spanish and son had no one to play with, pointless to change bedding partially daily when floor was filthy. Jammed 3 beds into a 2 person room so 3 of us were like sardines, only 2 english channels on tv. An overall feeling of not being welcome to stay there. Good location though for beach and v clean around visible areas.

stayed here for 2 weeks starting on the 12th August. A really nice hotel on Google maps it looks quite old and tired but has been repainted since the photos were taken, the rooms are nice but the beds are right next to each other if you have 3 single beds but you can move them apart, there were 5 of us staying there 2 adults, 15,17 and 18 year old so we were in 2 separate rooms but when we arrived they made sure we were in rooms next to each other. The rooms are cleaned every day with fresh towels each day, they are a good size ours had a balcony which was great. Tea, coffee, kettle NOT provided, TV has BBC, BBC and CBBC channels. There is a hair dryer and shampoo and soap left every day, air conditioning system is really good and the rooms are well maintained

good things:
-staff (they're lovely and really helpful and all speak good English)
-great activity's (we tended not to join in but when we did we loved it, under 12's club and they do games for all over 12's so adults can join in :)
-the pools (indoor one which has a patio door which is wide open and so warms the pool up a bit as it can be freezing but sometimes we needed it as it got hot, out door one also nice they tried to keep it clean and every morning and night they did maintenance work on it but during the day there was quite a bit of rubbish (leaves mainly)
- really close to the beach! it's over the road and past one hotel (the beach is really nice and lots to do down the sea front )
- Really clean (floors are polished every day!)
-good wifi
-majority of sun beds and some areas are locked until 10 o clock so you don't need to worry about getting up at 6am to get a sunbed :)

not so good things:
-no lifeguard at indoor pool but spa attendants keep an eye on it
-outdoor pool lifeguard is always at the pool sweeping floor etc. but does not keep a really close eye on it as the lifeguard on our last holiday did.
-Guests are mainly spanish therefore the majority of food is catered for them (not much vegetarian options) plenty of fish and hams, chorizo etc.
-The walls are very thin upstairs and air vents in the bathrooms so you could clearly hear people having conversations in other bathrooms

Breakfast:
-tea, coffee, hot chocolate machine, juice and water machine ( tea was not nice so we brought our own tea bags and used the hot water. Juice machine the water is just tap water so try to avoid it if you are British.
-fry up available, bread rolls, cereal, grapefruits, oranges, milk, microwave to heat up baby bottles, croissants

dinner:
-you have to pay for drinks 2 euros for a litre of bottled water
-soup every night, lettuce, tomatoes, onions, fish salads, fish, fried fish etc. ;) meat table which contained hams always a meat in a sauce of something and they do have some different things every night (our last night was spanish toritilla, bbq pork ) The veg is not nice it's over cooked and gets cold so if your not in at the beginning of the night it won't be nice. well we were there we had sprouts for a week and then french beans and carrots for the second week..
puddings are not nice except for the fruit (melon every night and something else), ice cream and yogurts.

overall it was a great stay and overall we enjoyed ourselves

Thin walls so I could people on the loo, in the shower, talking - and then screaming (at 6pm or 3am), food was god awful, even I could do better than that I can't cook, the staff were very unhelpful and did not comment at all when I checked out. I just gave them my keys said I was checking out and they grunted at me. Diabolical. As in Fuengirola. The only decent (and very decent) bar/restaurant is called Suave... more reviews about that to follow. If you have to stay in Fuengirola, my thoughts are with you, but end up in Suave and you will be well fed and with nice people.

Where do I begin!! Far too much to complain about with this hotel
This is rated as a four star which it is certainly not more like a 2 star, rooms very small poor fixtures and fittings. Not the cleanest place sticky tables food on floor from previous nite at breakfast dirty cups and knives and forks, walls so thin was like being in a communal bedroom!!
Food very very poor caters very much for Spanish example tripe stew one evening!!!we hardly ate there at all, like a riot mornings and evenings that's if you could get to the food for very rude Spanish who would just barge past you I had a 3 yr old with me and several times she was shoved out of the way awful awful people never again would I go back. Never seen such miserable hotel staff smiled at numerous ones only to be met with a blank stare :( we were just not made to feel welcome at all at this hotel at all
I have 2 young girls and not once were they asked to go to kids club they would walk straight past us to invite the Spanish kids and we would be sat right next to them so rude!!
We took them anyway but it was like they were invisible and my girls are good mixers too but even they said how they were ignored! So ridiculous I could go on on honestly!
Don't go to this hotel if you have children please go somewhere else you will regret it if you do!

Room was very small and not 4 star. Bathroom had a vent which being over the kitchen side mean't really awful cooking smells. Decor tired and dated, toilet seat slipped around as it was the wrong size. Bedrooms were small. I seriously admire those with kids squeezing into the limited space. TV had just BBC/CBBC in English, fridge was a nice touch but took up valuable space. Best thing was the air con which was very effective. Laminated flooring which was awful as you could hear every footstep and chair scrape from above at all hours. Entertainment was a kids club all in Spanish and evening entertainment was mostly in Spanish too. The pool was cleaned on a daily basis but the tables and chairs between the entertainment part and the pool were not cleared, chairs sticky with ice cream. it is a myth that UK people reserve all the sunbeds... The Spaniards do it too except they don't appear to use them until after midday if at all!!! The restaurant... hmm.... we tried breakfast once but it was a free for all, very busy. Itried the scrambled egg and sausage... tasteless and the sausage were rock hard at the ends with a strange filling. Evening meal was poor. Our last night offering was, Cauliflower soup.... Chicken legs or veal with a choice of vegetables, umm boiled potatoes, chips and some weird looking green things. There was a load of fried things but didnt look appetizing. most of the hot food was cold. Be careful if you give the fried fish to kids as they tend to batter with the bones in. We were HB. You didn;t get a drink with evening meals it had to be paid for seperately. One lady I met ate in the restaurant but her husband had gone out for a take away! Sums it up really! The majority of the hotel was cleaned daily, the receptionists were friendly and helpful. This is not a couples hotel, more for families who don't mnd everything in a foreign language. Would I go back? NO !

The Hotel was ideal for us, used the Train to get from the Airport, very quick cheap and easy to use. Quickly checked in and we were on the third floor. As someone else wrote the walls are thin so if the neighbours talk loud you can hear everything. Restaurant was never busy when we went in and there were plenty of staff clearing tables. Food was OK but wouldn't have liked 2 weeks as it would have got a bit boring. Food was always hot and there are Microwaves if you need anything warmed up.
Used the local bus many times from outside the front of the Hotel. 1 Euro takes you into town and the service runs every 15 minutes till late evening. 1.50 Euro to get to Benalmadena Marina by bus.
