I have eaten Meson Agustin for over 5 years and I have to say if you are a meat eater this is the place. I visited on Saturday night with 4 golf colleagues who were suitably impressed.
The meat is displayed in a glass unit so you can select your own cut which is cooked on an open charcoal grill.
The staff are very attentive and always have a suggestion for dish of the day washed down with great house Rioja. (Nicely chilled)
I have tried the leg of lamb, fillet and sirloin steaks over the years and have always had a great meal.
The vegetable selection is the only area they could improve on slightly, but they are generally freshly cooked.
The starters are 5* try the 'Navarra' sausages and the black pudding.
Looking forward to my return in August.
