“GREAT VALUE AND LOCATION.”
Reviewed October 18, 2013

Stayed here last month for 10 days following the positive Tripadvisor reviews. I was not disappointed. It was in a great location near the train station and the beach. The rooms were airy and clean. Best of all there was a really cheap supermarket on the ground floor where you could stock the enormous fridge with beers and cheap Spanish food. Also the outdoor pool was clean, supervised and ideally located for catching the afternoon sun. Good value at the price I paid. I intend to return soon.

Room Tip: Get a room with a balcony overlooking the pool area.

2nd stay here.
Apartments very large and clean, found it equipped ok for our needs but didn't cook as such.
Shower surround was broken and when we complained they replaced the door, why did they wait to let us arrive before they did it perplexed me.
The Apartment was on the side of the Hotel and it was impossible to sit outside due to the traffic fumes and noise.
We were there for 5 nights and had terrible sleep, the mattress was awful, it was bliss to be home.
Not the Hotels fault but there is a property just up the hill where the owner chains his dogs outside (a pitiful sight) they are barking and howling all night.
We didn't use the bar or eat there so no comments.
The location is brilliant just up the road from the Train and the large supermarket underneath.
The train travel from the airport is so easy and cheap, don't bother with a transfer. Just watch the arrival time of your plane if night time.

Room Tip: may be quieter on the front but staff are loathe to move you.

We stayed at the Nuriasol in October 2012, and enjoyed it so much we stayed again this October 2013.

Last year we made the reservation through booking.com, and had large apartments with lovely balcony and facilities.

This year we booked direct with the Apartments, but they were for the same price and certainly inferior.

My room was on the 9th floor, and took two lifts as the first lift went only to the 8th floor.

The room unlike last years room with a balcony was smaller with only a small window, with a dark gloomy outlook between the buildings.

There was no kettle, cups plates and only one glass in the apartment.

The room was not a good as last year, but not bad for the price.

The staff are very friendly and the whole place very clean, very close to Los Boliches station and a short walk to the beach, which is a much better beach than the main part of Fuengirola.

Still good value for money, maybe next tine best booking with booking.com and not the Apartments direct.

Room Tip: Try to get a larger one with balcony and pool view, make sure it's not a small almost inside roo...

Excellent location, Mercadona Supermarket on the ground floor of the apartment ,it is very convenience. We booked two bedrooms apt. ( we prefer large apt more than sea front ) . We were on the fourth floor at the corner facing East therefore we can see the sunrise in the morning everyday. The apartment is very clean and bath towels changed quite often. Washing machine , large Fridge and Freezer , magnetic kitchen drawers and 4 ring hobs. Staffs are very helpful and friendly. We are going back next May.

Internet was very slow, could be faster after 9 p.m. Hard to find the English channel, anyway we were out all the day for the tours. Just one frying pan and pot although there were 4 ring hobs.

We had nice view of the hills. There was a local football club opposite us where we were able to watch football matches/training sessions from our balcony!

Stayed 10 nights from 23/9/13...-no complaints at all, we had a 1 bed apartment for 2 of us, plenty of room no probs with any cleaning services noise or pool.
I think if you have children this may not suit as they are limited to a childrens pool which isnt very big.
We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves, bought water, snacks wine/lager & bread etc from supermarket underneath the apts. very reasonable.
We always like to eat at the local bars & restaurants which are really varied-indian,chinese, spanish, english, mexican, italian...anything you want all good value so unable to comment on hotel food.
We found a great bar owned by an English couple called " Alfies", Julie & Dave were really welcoming and their bar was close to all the restaurants so we used to go for a drink or three before eating.
Cant fault this place Los Boliches or Nuriasol apartments & we are definately going back next Sept.

Room Tip: if you like to watch the local teaam play foorball then ask for a room overlooking the stadium, also...

Well after reading the last review I was wandering if they stayed at the same place as us!!

This is our second visit to the Nuriasol Apartments. We cannot fault them. The apartments are large and spacey, there is a fully equiped kitchen, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, Microwave, full sized cooker, kettle, toaster and coffee perculator - I have never stayed in such fully stocked apartments before.

The beds are clean and comfortable, we had our towels changed 3 times in a week which we thought was excellent service.

The bathroom is clean and tidy.

Our Apartment had clearly been painted this year as it was just lovely and fresh with no scuff marks on the walls.

The cupboard space is plentiful, there is a safe, which you have to pay for but its only a nominal charge. There is a huge TV with English channels if you wanted to watch it which we didn't.

There is a good sized balconly with table and charis and a drier for your clothes.

All in all what can you fault about that?

This year we didn't go to the pool as we prefer the beach - which is a 5 min walk away with lovely comfy sun loungers and a great sunbed "curator" who looks after you all week and reserves the same beds for you if you want them - great service!

There is a large supermarket underneath the apartments which is great and convenient. The only thing is it is shut on a Sunday - but there is another one at the bottom of the road underneath the department store which is open all week - so you can always get food.

There are plenty of lovely restaurants around.

The staff are very personable - always happy to help - we have never experienced any problems with any of them. There was no noise on a night apart from our last night when a coach party were leaving early hours and the bus woke us up - but hey that's not the Apartments fault. We had a room overlooking the stadium and this is nice and quiet.

Having stayed last year and going half board (Because of fussy children) we went self catering this year and I am glad we did as the I would say the only downside of this place is that the food last year was not up to much - we had great food from the local restaurants though this time.

I would say it is more of an adults place to stay as there is not much going on for children.

Also DO NOT PAY TRANSFER FEES FROM THE AIRPORT - you can jump ont he train direct from the airport for 2.80 Euros each and get off at Los Boliches stop - the apartments are 5 mins away.

I would thoroughly recommend - and I am a very fussy person!!!!!!!

Room Tip: Look over the stadium

After some nights at this hotel and you are totally exhausted !
If you are looking for a quiet place with a good night sleep, stay away from this hotel !

No hotel management is present.

Noisy cleaning personnel with noisy cleaning wagons in the corridors wakes up guests at all times.

The hotel accepts pets that can disrupt the sleep for the guests

The sound of the elevator are audible in nearby rooms

There are 4 extra front doors leading into the hotel's guest room corridors. Easy access for unauthorized personnel through these doors. The closing mechanism does not always work. The reception staff are not able to check this problem since no surveillance cameras are installed

The hotel is located in a residential area of noisy dogs from the neighbors. Day and night !

The rooms are very poorly insulated for noise. You can hear talks from adjacent rooms, which interfere with your night's sleep.
