“Nifty place and FREE!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2013

Really nifty museum and grounds. It's free. You'll spend about 45 minutes there, so not a long activity, but really interesting.

“Interesting Ruins”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2013

The Tourist Centre gave us a god start with artefacts , relics and a good map of the whole area. The information was given in three languages and was very interesting. The site was easy to find and the route easy to follow. It was beautifully maintained and all for free! You need to wear sturdy shoes and there are stairs to tackle. You can choose to visit the actual tombs or not, as you please.

“great history!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 24, 2013

It's quite small and you can look around it in less than half an hour, but it's interesting to see and read about Carmona's history.
I'd advise you to visit in nice weather conditions as it it obviously outdoors. They have guides translated into various languages and the curators are very accommodating and helpful.

“Worth the visit.”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 30, 2012

An easy walk from the main plaza in Carmona. It is definitely worth a visit. You really get a sense of the past. The area is in an excellent state of restoration.
