“Great food and ambience”
Reviewed January 1, 2014

Lovely room with vaulted ceiling and windows with great views. Breakfast standard parador fare and good. Lunch and dinner much better than the average parador - as witnessed by the number of locals from Seville who use it, especially at weekends. Service first class and the staff very friendly and helpful. Good range on the menu. No hesitation in recommending.

“Great choices”
Reviewed November 15, 2013

Ate breakfast and dinner here three days so got lots of variety and loved everything served. The breakfast buffet was very plentiful with lots of wonderful breads. The dinners especially the fish dishes were delicious and true to region.

“Outstanding”
Reviewed September 15, 2013

Like a retreat from the noisy and hot world around us.
The service was pleasant, reception people are so welcoming that is was so nice to go to the front desk!
The room though small was cleaned and the view over the countryside was unique.
Breakfast and other times when we used the dinning facilities was good.
I have no hesitation to recommend this lovely retreat from the busy world.

“A meal matching its surroundings”
Reviewed September 8, 2013

We stuck with the fixed menu and while it offered a limited choice, the alternatives were sufficient and offered good value given the location. The food was generally good. As ever in Spain, the starters and main courses outshone the puddings. The wines we had were equally good, but it would have been nice to have had the choice of a pudding wine other thanPedro Ximénez.

“Good but pricey food”
Reviewed September 6, 2013

Good meal but relatively expensive, we ate from the a la carte menu as we found the choice on the fixed menu limited.

Dinner is served in a traditional dining room with high vaulted ceiling. Our party particularly enjoyed the starter of Cantabrian anchovies with boquerones (served on small bread rolls, sandwich style), a truly excellent pate and scrambled eggs with salt cod. Of the mains the star was undoubtedly the confit sucking pig, the best we have eaten in Spain except in a Michelin starred restaurant. The starter portion sizes were huge so it was a relief that the mains were more "normal" sized.

The dessert buffet was good and extensive. The wine list was also fairly comprehensive with mainly Spanish wines featured.
