“Nice hotel, great location”
Reviewed May 26, 2013

We stayed 2 nights at this hotel. The room were O.K and all around the hotel there were coffee shops and restaurants. The buffet breakfast was plentiful and had the coffee was good.
The dinner buffet was plentiful and we got to try a large variety of Romanian salads, meats and vegetables.
In the evening during dinner they had a show of Romanian folklore that was very nice.
I would def return to this hotel again.

I stayed in this hotel for two nights during my Dracula Tour. Little town Sinaia is an air Spa center in hills and there is a lot of restaurants and pubs, lots of parks, but other than that you don't have much to see. Exception is, of course, monastery Sinaia and Castle Peles, what was the purpose of our staying there. It is a big hotel with not very big but comfortable rooms that are very clean. In your room you have everything you need (hairdryer, minibar, SAT TV, toiletry) except safe deposit box. We were given room without balcony, but there are rooms with balcony too. We end up with a view opposite to the entrance of the hotel and it wan't very representative. Inside of hotel you have big smoking room so you don't have to go out which is especially good in winter. Breakfast was good, there is enough food to choose, but I was little disappointed second morning because I notices they didn't use fresh salads (for example tomato was stale). Location was central,no complaints there.

Room Tip: Ask for room with balcony and on the entrance side.

I stayed at the Rina Sinaia for three days after relocating from the Contele Valimir at Bran , which was more like a smoke filled youth hostel than an hotel, my bad experience at the Contele Vladimar probable made me appreciate the Rina Sinaia more . This hotel is a very good hotel for a 3 star hotel and the food served in the restaurant is also good quality and very good value .
It is not a 5 star hotel with 5 star prices but is an excellent 3 star hotel and excellent value for money. My double ensuite room on the 4th floor cost £45 per night including breakfast, it was very warm and quiet , Dinner cost approx £20 for 2 people .
the only disapointment was no coffee/tea facilities in the room .
I would use this hotel again

Room Tip: The rooms to the rear of the hotel are very quiet and have a good view up the hill looking at the ol...

The hotel is excellent located, very clean, some rooms are small, there is no air-conditioning as being in that area you will not feel the need.., very nice and helpful staff, the food is excellent, in the evening mostly they have live music, they have good deals over the week-end or if you stya more then 3 nights. Enjoy your time there!

we spent another week end at hotel Sinaia. We had this time a triple room for 255 ron per night as we travelled with children. The room was nice, very big as it has one queen size bed and one single, LCD tv, air conditioning, free wi-fi.
The parking lot is big with video surveillance but it costs 20 ron per day (nothing compared to other sites). The pool remains non renovated but still ok, hot water, nice appointed sauna, access fee 35 ron per adult and 15 for a child.
Breakfast was included and with varied choice, of course, in case of long stays it becomes boring but this is happends at very big chain hotels too.
One nice surprise are the elevators, brand new, fast, beautiful, safe. If the pool will be renovated, it will become my number one choice when going to Sinaia.
