We visited that monastery in August 2003 when we had accomodation at International Hotel in Sinaia. The Cathedral of the Carpathians is situated in a wonderful landscape and it is the oldest building in this area. That edifice was built in the in 17th century and the pligrim arriving at Sinaia Monastery does not only find 300 years of history but also a real museum of Romanian art and spirituality. One of the remarkable cult object is the 1688 Bible, the first to be entirely translated into Romanian and printed by appointment of Prince Serban Cantacuzino and also you can see an interesting collection of beautiful icons. So stop for a few moments and pray in such beautiful holy place.

This is a beautiful monastery in Sinaia. It has two churches, both with amazing artwork on the walls and ceilings. It was free to enter and you could take pictures. There is also a courtyard in the back that leads to the smaller church. There are public restrooms here, but not particularly clean.

Both of these are really good The old building is a little more naïve and therefore slightly more charming.

A very clean and elegant monastery, with two different sides of it, an older and a more modern one. The churches are both interesting and very beautifully decorated.
