“Quiet place, good dinner”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 5, 2013

We were here on Easter Sunday, 7ish, Not crowded, good service. We enjoyed our dinner - Snow crepe (caramelized mushrooms and onion, with chicken in a crepe) - it was large enough for us to split. We were not in a hurry, but the service was prompt. The waitress spoke English, but the menu was also in English, so no problem. Prices were reasonable, Recommended.

“Wonderful dessert and good food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 9, 2013 via mobile

Stopped for lunch. I had the schnitzel and gratin potatoes. It was very good. My husband had the bean soap with smoked pork - great flavor. Our favorite was the doughnut with sour cream and jam. My husband thought us was heavenly. A must try at this quaint restaurant.

“Decent place to eat”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

This is an ok place to eat in Sinaia where there's a lot of bad food. It's nicely decorated in a alpine style, service is attentive and good though we did not check to see if they spoke English. They started us off with a free tuica which is nice; in spite of the "theming" the menu was heavily Romanian, perfectly acceptable, and they also had some pasta dishes which were fine.

“Just an ordinary restaurant”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 3, 2013

The restaurant is nicely decorated in Austrian style and considering the costumes of the personnel, this should have been the initial intention.
However it ended up serving the usual dishes of the Romanian restaurants which is not bad, just a bit weird.
The menue had a lot of items and there were no out of stocks for anything we ordered. The food was not bad - not good, let's say decent but a bit too expensive for the quality.
More personnel should be hired as the restaurant was full (Saturday by noon) and there were only 2 persons serving about 100 people; they were very nice, trying to be everywhere and to make everybody happy which was not possible. We had to wait a lot for a simple menu. I would recommend it only if you are hungry and you want a non-pretentious place to eat.
