10/10 for the food, amazing quality and price...highly recommend the Pork Belly best I've had to be honest.
Fine bar, spacious and bright good choice of taps and bottled beers and ciders.
Can't rate the staff high enough. Can't wait to return.

Stayed at this hotel last weekend as i had business in Mullingar. I found this hotel on a website, saw good reviews, checked the price and thought it was worth a go so booked room for myself. It was a very pleasant stay, easy to locate, parking was convenient and free, hotel staff were efficient and very helping.Room was large.Very Comfortable beds. Very well soundproofed so external noise minimal.Food in the evening and breakfast were absolutley delicious. I stayed for 2 nights from 21st to 22nd February.. I will be back in Ireand in April and i will be definetly be staying here again as i do travel to Ireland frequently with my job. Overall well worth a visit and do try the restaurant as the food is great and reasonably priced.

Stayed here over Valentines weekend with my girlfriend. Hotel had a number of positives: good central location in Mullingar, spacious & clean room, free wifi, big breakfast (although quality was only ok), front desk staff welcoming. However it also has a major negative: very noisy at weekends with music going on until 2am on Fri/Sat night making it very difficult to sleep if you don't want to stay up that late (which is why you generally stay at a hotel). There appears to be no sound proofing and hotel staff reluctant to turn the music down. On the Sunday night after a hectic weekend, I just wanted to get an early night which I couldn't do with music blasting out until 11pm - complaints to front desk fell on deaf ears in that they just said it would be off at 11 (i.e. lack of consideration to all hotel guests - only to those in the bar).
Other negatives: low shower head making it difficult for even a 6ft tall individual to shower comfortably; service at breakfast was generally poor - most people got asked if they would like tea/toast on arrival at a table, however I was missed on two out of three occasions and had to track someone down.
I also ordered a special romantic package in that on arrival, there would petals on the bed and sparkling wine/chocolates in the room. This was generally fine except that the sparkling wine was actually just a normal bottle of average white wine and I was charged an excessive amount for it.
Overall I wouldn't be in a rush to stay at this hotel again over a weekend unless I wanted to party all night.

We were seriously let down at an hotel we booked in Mullingar, we found Annebrook House Hotel on google and were very fortunate to be able to get rooms at very short notice. There were 3 couples and we got 1 double room and 1 -2 bed apartment.
There was nothing negative to be said about the hotel, the staff were amazing, the rooms were fantastic, the bar and music were fun and breakfast next morning was plentiful and fresh.
All in all there are 6 very happy people who are looking forward to another excuse to spend a night or 2 in Mullingar.
Thanks guys, you really made our night!

Room Tip: The apartments are great for a few friends travelling together or for families.

I can't sing the praises of this wonderful hotel, I had reason to stay in this hotel again for two nights recently, All I can say is that it is wonderful..... The staff are so friendly and upon arrival explain everything to you. The room is well decorated, plenty of room and clean. Breakfast in the morning is great with a variety of choice, and likewise I had lunch in the bar. Again wonderful. I would highly recommend the Annebrook House Hotel to all my friends and colleagues. You won't be left disappointed and I look forward to returning to the hotel soonx

Our first visit to the Annebrook and it wont be the last! There was a little difficulty about our reservation but the Receptionist quickly resolved this and transferred us to one of the Suites (for the same price) It was superb in every detail. Breakfast the next morning included whatever you needed and the helpful staff went the extra mile to get me some lovely Irish brown soda bread. Thank you all very much and we will be back again.

The Annebrook House Hotel is Mullingar's newest 4* hotel. Centrally located in the centre of Mullingar over looking acres of Town Park. The Annebrook offers an excellent service to both its corporate & leisure guests. The hotel is built around an original Georgian house tastefully entwining the old with the new. The river its self is probably one of the prime reasons why Mullingar exists at all as it would have been a significant factor why the Normans chose to build here in the medieval times. The Old House Restaurant is located in the cellar of the Old house, with its original limestone walls and its original fire places it has a warm cosy Berty's bar offers a option of Carvery served at lunchtime or a bar food menu served in the evening. ... more   less
