“"Top Notch"”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

We had a function in The Annebrook House and we were very impressed with all aspects the food service athmosphere everything was top notch. We were met at the door on arrival by the owner who very hospitable. We had an excellent meal served by cheerful and pleasent staff some of our friends who travelled for the function stayed overnight and were well satisfied with the accomadation. Annebrook House is period residence which has been tastely transformed into a luxury hotel just off the Main Street (Austin Friars) in Mullingar.

I was attending a function at the Annebrook Hotel, Mullingar, recently and I found everything about it brilliant. The location, decor, food, staff, just everything. The even have loads of parking in the centre of the town which is rare nowadays. It was my first visit to the Annebrook, but it wont be my last. Unless you were looking for the hotel I doubt you would just come across it as it is on its own grounds just off the Main Street.

Room Tip: I did not stay

Just back from a 2 day stay in the wonderful apartments here,it was very spacious, and as we were 3 adults it was great to have so much space, tea makin facilities, toaster, fridge and microwave were a great added bonus. The price was so very reasonable as well.Only 2 wee small gripes really and they in no way spoiled our stay, went into bar on the Friday eve for a drink and stood at the bar for a good 20 minutes and couldnt get served as barman was outside counter and talkin to a customer then a waitress came along talkin into a phone and ignored me also,i got fed up and went back to apartment. The other gripe was fan in both bathrooms really do need a good clean or vacume. This place is very central, can have a walkabout or do a bit of shoppin .Also a lovely restaurant named Oscars is within walkin distance food is excellant here

Room Tip: apartments on corner would be quieter

Just back from a family break at Annebrook. On arrival we were delighted with the spaciousness of the apartment. The view over the park was lovely. Our friends stayed in a corner apartment and had a bigger living area. If we choose to go again I would definitely ask for a corner apartment. The first night we enjoyed a lovely meal in the bar. Perfect menu for kids too. The hotel is well located for either a dander up the street or a drive around the midlands. Saturday night however was a little different. All started well with another pleasant meal in the bar. At around 3am we were woken by party animals with no regard for anyone but themselves. For approximately 2 -3 hours we were entertained by an assortment of shouting, roaring and clip clopping around. Perhaps more thought could be given to placing families away from groups of males / females. On checking out the receptionist did not enquire as to our satisfaction with Annebrook. This came as no surprise. Good value, good food, comfy beds just a shame about the noise.

Hello, thank you so much for your review. We pride ourselves in dealing with guests queries immediately onsite. I am not sure from the review if reception was contacted at the time of the disturbance. We have security onhand to deal with any such occassions and would have been delighted to assist. Hopefully this will not deter you from visiting us again.
