This hotel is ideally situated in the town centre and overlooking the town park. Adequate car parking, some underground, available. Stayed in one of the 2 bedded apartments which on the whole were excellent both in condition and value. One niggle about these however is that one of the bedrooms has a window looking out on the internal corridor which means it is VERY noisy with people coming and going (loudly) all night. Other than that the apartment is excellent, with 2 bathrooms and a kettle, toaster , fridge and microwave, though no cooker. Breakfast was excellent. good selection of fresh fruit, cereals, breads and cooked items which were regularly replenished. Also ate in the hotel bar which was good too. Not great for wheelchairs or prams as bar cannot be accessed from inside without using stairs. same applies to restuarant. Overall a very good price for a family. Would certainly recommend.

Room Tip: Ask if there is a window onto the corridor.....if so avoid at all cosrs, especially if you have chil...

A well situated hotel close to the town centre. The rooms were comfortable with decent WiFi in the room, essential to business travellers. The restaurant menu was a little limited but the food excellent. More than that, it's not just the food but the service. Thanks to the waitresses Sinead and Emma for providing that.
It would be nice to have the addition of a fitness centre.

This hotel once i found it is central location. Staff were friendly and the room were very good - large and spacious with lovely view. The food in the hotel was excellant and breakfast was one of best i have had. Hotel had ample free parking but in walking distance of everywhere.

First impressions were that this was a delightful place to stay in Mullingar and everything was fresh and clean and our room was large with a lovely outlook across the park. The Flat screen TV had a good selection of programmes and the bathroom at least had a glass shower screen (rather than those tacky shower curtains).

Come evening time and it was downhill from there. First the Guinness was not the best (I'm reliably informed from my wife and a local patron drinking lager), and then Dinner was far from being great. To top it all, when we got back to the room our bed was far from comfortable with the mattress having more peaks and troughs than the Lake District.

Breakfast was not much better and although there was a reasonable selection, everything tasted so bland.

This hotel probably deserves a slightly better score than average and it really was in a lovely location in the heart of town.

My wife and I stayed overnight for a wedding. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The Staff were personal and efficient with an attentive and friendly manager. The wedding meal was superb & would make me want to visit their restaurant again. Generous and tasty breakfast. The building itself is a nice mixture of old and new. Would stay again and would recommend it.

an effortless check in.
stayed in an apartment and my only small complaint was that they were separate from the main hotel and you had to walk through an underground car-park to get to it.
room was extremely spacious with a double and two single beds.
modern decor and all you would expect in a hotel room.
bathroom was large with good water pressure.
main hotel is very nice with a library and nice feel to it , large open plan bar , didn't eat in restaurant but the breakfast was good with a varied range.

The Annebrook House Hotel is Mullingar's newest 4* hotel. Centrally located in the centre of Mullingar over looking acres of Town Park. The Annebrook offers an excellent service to both its corporate & leisure guests. The hotel is built around an original Georgian house tastefully entwining the old with the new. All the accommodation is to a high standard. The Brosna River flows through the grounds of the Annebrook Houses. The river its self is probably one of the prime reasons why Mullingar exists at all as it would have been a significant factor why the Normans chose to build here in the medieval times. Dining at The Annebrook is a unique experience. The Old House Restaurant is located in the cellar of the Old house, with its original limestone walls and its original fire places it has a warm cosy Berty's bar offers a option of Carvery served at lunchtime or a bar food menu served in the evening. ... more   less
