I have been to many dog tracks in Ireland and further afield and have to say, this is the best!! Great facilities, service and banter... And just as it starts, the train passes by like clockwork. Food is good, beer is well served and betting is easy....

Great evening out with the family. Plenty of parking available. Affordable food to snack on while watching races. Face painting for kids was a lot of fun, too.

If you happen to be passing by Mullingar, try to go to the greyhound stadium, great opportunity to pick up the local atmosphere, mingle with the locals, it's all well organised, the restaurant was a bit of a bummer ...

Went on a company night out to racing, so all pre-organised. Had great fun the food while only small choice was very well cooked and nicely presented, better than I thought. the facilities, TV screens, views etc. were great and weather was sunny and warm so added bonus. Go there if you enjoy a flutter with your glass of wine.

We went in March and the evening was quite cold. We went to try it out and we learned a valuable lesson. Do not go unless you have booked upstairs (though a little pricy). We went downstairs which was ok until it filled up. The regulars had arrived early and every seat and table were gone even though we were there at 7.00pm. We had to eat and drink outside which you would probably get away with if the evening is pleasant but not on a cold night in March. We left earlier than what we had planned as it was too cold outside and too full inside. The package they do is great value but if you have picked either a wet or cold night forget it.
