“Grounds are really worth a visit, lovely walks - an quiet oasis in Mullingar”

The house had a audio/visual lifelike experience downstairs showing what life was like in the servants' quarters and this was interesting, however moving upstairs was disappointing with very little furniture and artifacts in the house. The walled garden is worth a visit if you're into plants, herbs etc., The best part of our visit was the grounds, beautiful long walks, around lake and woods an oasis in the middle of Mulligar

Super forest walks, lovely views and seating areas beside the lake, childrens playgrounds skattered around, the house itself is well worth a visit. very nice coffee shop albeit a overpriced, very nice gift shop also pricey, there is a small animal sanctury, fairy garden. The annual subscription is very reasonable

this is a haven in Mullingar, wonderful place to bring children, and their annual family ticket
is a great gift for all the family, at a very reasonable price, beautiful walks , very friendly staff,
Frances is a lovely lady, always ready for a chat..My DIL is a frequent visitor there, like 3/4 times
a week, and her children never tire of it after 4 years which says a lot. It is a lovely place to wander around and to clear your head of the worries of the world...
