We gave this one a gold star.. Teresa the host was wonderful for starters. She had a great breakfast, clean accommodations, nice beds, TV and computer needed by then on our trip. (Most host we had believed in not having such because you are on vacation.) This gal is super charged in energy.. All of us just liked her lots. Plus, she is located a few miles from Ardmore. This is a great tiny village.

Room Tip: We had the room facing the front of house-- the back side has land as well but the highway can be he...

My sister and I stayed here for three nights on our 12 day trip through Ireland and I am so glad that we did! Not only is the location great if you are looking for peace and quiet not far from lively towns. It was great to see the cows from the farm everyday as well. Teresa was absolutely fantastic and the perfect host! She truly made us feel welcome and at home. We had a lovely balcony and the room was very spacious. The bathroom was immaculate and the towels were very soft. Teresa was fantastic with not only directions but places to see along the way. She definitely knows her stuff! Without her help we would have missed out on quite a bit by taking the 'main' more heavily traveled roads. The breakfast in the morning was also superb! She had a fully breakfast bar set up along with a menu that we could order from. Much more than we were expecting and we were so pleasantly surprised! One very wet and windy evening we came in from sightseeing and she built up the fire for us and brought us tea and coffee to enjoy in the parlor. She definitely went above and beyond and I cannot wait to go back and stay with her again!

Room Tip: If you can, get the front room with the balcony. It is fantastic!

We stayed here in October 2012. Teresa was great, friendly, warm. Such a kind person. The rooms were lovely. Breakfast was absolutely delicious. Despite what others have said it is a working farm. Actually got to see the cows being milked in the morning. Couldn't have had a better experience. Thank you to Teresa and Declan

Cozy room with a great view in a lovely old farmhouse set in beautiful gardens. The breakfast was great with home-made breads and was more than we could possibly eat. We would be back there tomorrow if we could.

We stayed at this b&b for 1 night in between Kilkenny and portmagee. It was a little hard to find but when we did we loved it. Beautiful working farm and the owner was very nice and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable we had a great sleep and good breakfast the next morning.

My niece and I stayed for one night in our two week tour of Ireland and although the place itself is beautiful: gardens, rooms are lovely, just didn't receive that warm, lovely, authentic hospitality that was prevalent in so many places.

Declan greeted us which was lovely but I didnt feel the warmth from the owner. CAme down for breakfast and no one came for quite some time, didnt know if we should help ourselves or not, coffeemaker making a horrible horrible sound, and food was just fine but not the wonderful baking and flourish other places had.

It was really hard to find as well. We stopped three times and no one even heard of it. Directions to dinner were way off base but dinner at Seanchai was delightfull once found.

Met two German men who were visiting there and hope their experience was better than ours.

Room Tip: again, the rooms are lovely, the welcome and interactions totally ingenuine.

Our room on the ground floor overooked the back garden and was small though reasonably comfortable. Room was extremely cold and a little dark even though it was summer and for the first time in my life I resorted to sleeping without a pillow as this B&B must hold the world record for the hardest and heaviest pillows ever known to man. But the main concern was that this B&B is located between two main roads and the main N25 runs very close to the back of the house making the back bedrooms very noisy. Our hostess suggested we slept with the window closed!
Irish breakfast was very good and generous.
Eating out in Ardmore with a family wa a little challenging - nothing between ridiculously overpriced 'chic' modern restaurant or rather quaint old Irish hotel akin the the location for The Shining but if you want to experience 'real life, this is the place to go though food is very basic and not really worth what they charged. Consider eating evening meal out of Ardmore.
Village is beautiful and quaint during day with fabulous cliff walks.

Room Tip: Choose a suite/room at the front of the house - sunny with views across countryside. We were charged...
