“Welcoming, generous and exceptionally clean”
Reviewed February 21, 2014

We arrived at the property and met Paul, a genuinly warm guy who was doing a spot of outside maintanace. He then took us into the house were we met Tricia who gave us an equally warm welcome. We dropped our bags into our room, which was bright clean and spacious, decorated lavishly and with great taste in cool blues creams and whites. The bed was enormous and great care had been taken with dressing the bed with coordinating pillows cushions and a quilt which was warm but as light as a feather, bed side cabinets and lights and a wall mounted television. The en suite was also imacculate with a huge walk in power Shower. Over in the corner of the bedroom was a door, which Paul told us was a wardrobe, which it was, but so much more, it had l9oads of space for clothes and your cases, but also a chair, power points and a surface that you could put your toiletries ect on and a wall mounted mirror. We went into the lounge and enjoyed wondeful cakes and buns and scone and jam fresh from the oven with a very welcome pot of tea. Paul stay and chatted and we watched a short information DVD about Ardmore and its history and residents which we really enjoyed.
We asked where we could go for an evening meal, and not only did Paul recommend places but he took the time to draw us a map, which we found very handy. We ate at Aherns which I've mentioned in another post. The next day we had the most wonderful freshly cooked breakfast, absolutely delicious, it was all good but the egg was cooked to perfection and the black pudding was excellant. We really enjoyed our stay and I would highly recommend this stunning property. Thank you Paul and Tricia, we will be back.

Room Tip: Paul told us that they were just reovating one of the back downstairs room which has a jaccuzzi bath...

My husband and I spent a weekend in Ardmore Bed and Breakfast with with our 11 month old baby in October. It was a truly relaxing stay and we were overwhelmed by the kind hospitality we received upon arriving and throughout. The bedrooms were spacious and well quipped with a cot included for our son Harry. We had a variety to choose from for our breakfast and were immediatly offered a high chair. There was plenty for us to do with beautiful beaches and walks nearby. Our host Paul recommended the local open farm which was a wonderful hidden gem just outside Ardmore with various animals, childrens play area and delicious food. We had a wonderful experience at this bed and breakfast and made for a memorable first holiday as a family. We are already planning a trip back in Easter!

Ardmore is a beautiful village, with stunning walks, restaurants, beaches, with somethin to suit all ages. This was our third time to visit and decided to try out this new B&B. From the minute we stepped through the door and met our hosts we knew we had found somewhere so very special. We received a lovely welcome and were amazed with our room. It was huge, beautifully decorated, a super big bed, all en-suite, with the option of a jacuzzi, tv and super super clean. When we needed to get to the village we were brought and collected. When we first arrived at the B&B we had some beautiful home baked scones, a real treat. The breakfast menu was also unbelievable, pancakes, full irish, continental, every option you could imagine. A real treat to have gluten free bread & breakfast as I am a coeliac. This B&B IS A BARGAIN, could charge a lot more and cant wait to visit again & again & again. Couldn't recomend it more.

Booked this B&B as both myself & my husband wanted a few days to relax & enjoy the sea air. We booked a double room & to our amazement we were shown to a room complete with a huge super king bed ! the room was tastefully decorated & spotlessly clean with a walk in wardrobe, en-suite & a chilled bottle of water we couldn't have asked for more ! Our hosts offered us freshly baked scones & tea/coffee's on our arrival and provided us with directions and information on the best beaches & walks available in the village. The village itself is quaint and beautiful and the cliff walk is highly recommended, the scenery is just spectacular.
The breakfasts were 5 star, there was such a selection to choose from, we had the full irish every morning & we cleaned the plates every time !!! I would highly recommend this B&B to my friends and family, I could not find a single fault, it was great value & I look forward to returning again.

Room Tip: Room 1 has an amazingly comfortable super king bed !!

We were driving from Cork to Dublin and stumbled upon the Pattern festival in Ardmore. The town was buzzing so we decided to stay. We got word that a new b &b had opened a couple of miles outside town and gave them a call. Paul the owner said he was fully booked but if he got a cancellation he will call us immediately! 5mins later he called. The room was clean, newly furnished with wi if and tv. We got the room beside the jacuzzi!! He dropped us into town and dropped us back... Great hospitality. I would strongly recommend staying here.

Room Tip: The jacuzzi bath is beside room 2 so if you want a private jacuzzi ask for it. I believe the main ro...
