“Steeped in history, views out over the Atlantic and bird watching all in a one hour walk!”
Reviewed March 25, 2013

I visit Ardomre at least once a year. This year I went with a good friend on a cool bright Feburary Sunday. It was my friend's first experience of the walk and it was a lovely experience to take her over the much loved walk. We started from the beach and walked up the hill past the Cliff Hotel. We were transported back to early christian times at the ancient church ruins. We watched choughs flying above the cliffs and sat at the well where the local parish priest said his office almost 100 years ago. We spent ages in the cemetary gazing at the old graves and the frieze on the church. The sun shon all the way around and we will be back.

“Stunning location & views”
Reviewed March 23, 2013

Ardmore is the most beautiful little village nestled on the coast in Co. Waterford. The cliff walk is a lovely way to spend the afternoon. We didn't complete the full walk but managed about 45 minutes. Spectacular views & scenery & a great way of getting some of the lovely sea air into the lungs. If you have children bring them along but may not be suitable for the very young as would be very difficult to carry them all the way. Make sure to bring a camera.

Reviewed February 14, 2013

St Declans is a spiritual place with a holy well still intact. Has healing powers. Cliff top hotel has amazing views. Fantastic spa. Suburb food.
Nice rooms. All seaview. Close to village With lovely beach, local pubs. Round tower near. Worth a weekend. Blessed if you get nice weather. Midway between Cork and Waterford. Cant go wrong. lots of water things to do in summer.

“Great view”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Part of it is great but parts are slippery, narrow and not worth the trip. Just walk a short distance then turn back..
