Description: Emelia’s specializes in Mediterranean cuisine that owner George Ouyoumjian’s mother, Emelia, cooked when he was growing up. George is Armenian, by way of Syria, and offers delicacies to re-flect that heritage. For the best brunch in town and an authentic taste of the Mediterranean, be sure to try the lamb kebabs and the hummus, the best you'll ever have!

Lunch prices aren't nearly as bad as the three dollar signs on trip advisor imply. This is some of the best food I have had. I dislike spicy food because it usually burns without flavor. The steak kabobs had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. Even ten minutes later I can feel the heat and flavor of the dish in a very pleasant fashion. The service was excellent and complemented both the meal and the pleasant dining atmosphere.

Celebrated a birthday with family at Emelia's and really enjoyed it. The food was good and portions were generous. The grilled portobello with shrimp and cheese was delicious and could have been a meal in itself. The citrus salmon was a big hit and the 13 year old asked if he could have more after finishing it off.

The staff couldn't have been nicer. Sara, our waitress, was wonderful. She was very friendly and had a delightful sense of humor. The chef came out and visited with us and made sure we were pleased with our meal.

The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and features many original details from the old building, including tin ceilings and wood trim. The windows facing Dickson Street are a great place to people watch.

Only word of caution is the food is pretty spicy. Most everything we tried had quite a bit of heat to it.

Emelia's isn't my favorite place for lunch or dinner, but their Sunday morning brunch is perfect. The eggs benedict with pan fried potatoes are the BesT, and my daughters always love the Belgian waffles. The coffee even seems a little better here, and the service is top notch. If I am in Fayetteville on Sunday morning, it is always a must do.

Emelia's on Dickson St. is a reliable place for quality food, good service, decent pricing and a nice atmosphere for most any occasion. My only complaint is that the kitchen "automatically" sprinkles hot pepper flake garnish over many dishes without asking... so to be safe, ask your waiter to "hold" the hot peppers or bring them on the side for you to add to your own taste (frankly, "hot peppers" have become a local scourge of N.W. Arkansas restaurants... don't know how this happened, but it's not a trend that foodies endorse). Otherwise, you'll have a great dining experience at Emelias! Check it out!

Great drinks, large portions and wonderful flavors. Adaptable enough for kids plates. Awesome brunch cocktails. The Mediterranean meals are authentic and moderately priced too. Great value and nice service. A bit too crowded on special occasions. They may have outgrown their footprint.
