“Always a solid economical choice for Great Italian Fare”
Reviewed November 28, 2012

Don't let the funky setting scare you away, this is great italian food with a lot of choices for entrees and tastes. Food is always good and one of our favorite restaurants without killing the wallet.

“Great food!”
Reviewed November 20, 2012

My first visit to Pesto on recommendation of our daughter who eats there frequently. We were there Sunday for lunch. It was not very busy, but we were early. Service was good. We shared the Pesto Pasta and a seafood Pasta, with Caesar salads and garlic bread, which came with the meals. Love the garlic bread! Salad was very fresh and good. The pesto pasta was my favorite - sauce was yummy, pasta cooked perfectly, and loved the artichoke hearts! But the seafood pasta sauce was great also, and the shrimp, scallops and salmon were plentiful, good-sized, and tasty. As other reviews have said, don't let the run-down strip motel deter you from going. They have a full bar, and decor is nice.

“Our go to place”
Reviewed November 7, 2012 via mobile

Can't say how many times we have eaten at the Pesto and we have never had a bad experience. We enjoy lunch more than dinner due to the previously mentioned noise level but that is just us. They have the crispest best Caesar salad I think I have ever had. My favorite is the eggplant Parmesan, not your normal take on this but rather a stack of perfectly done eggplant with cheese and a very good red sauce. The chicken Milano, salmon rigatoni and veggie pasta (forgetting real name of it) are also excellent. Nothing is salty which I appreciate. Huge portions, always have lunch for next day. Nice touch is pepper grinders on each table. As someone else mentioned, great wine list. This is where we found the fieldstone Sangiovese which unfortunately distributors in this area no longer carry.

“Quaint little Italian cafe with wonderful food.”
Reviewed November 5, 2012 via mobile

Pesto's Cafe is a diamond in the dirt, an unexpected find. A quaint little Italian cafe located in front of an old run down strip motel. But don't let the appearance deter you. Once inside, you will find an eclectic interior reminiscent of the sixties, with a full bar, serving delicious Italian dishes and over the top pizza. Truly cuisine not to be missed!

“Hidden Italian Gem”
Reviewed September 3, 2012

This little gem is a local establishment known for its portable skillet pastas and great wine! Great service and local flavor to your trip! The outside may not look appealing and parking sparse, but once inside you will truly appreciate this diamond in the rough.
