“Great, if you can make it while the Farmer's Market is open”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

The entire Fayetteville Square, built around the old post office, is heavily cultivated on all sides and includes numerous places to sit and relax, water features, and more, but the time to really enjoy the area is on the mornings that the Farmer's Market is open. There are usually at least 40-50 farmers and crafters bringing all sorts of fruits, vegetables, herbs, flowers, sometimes local meat, and other items for sale. Local musicians often perform, and it's a popular place for locals to come with kids, walk dogs, shop, and socialize.
Nearby coffee shops, breakfast options, and lots of shade make it comfortable even in the hottest parts of the summer.

“Award-winning Farmers Market on the Fayetteville Downtown Square”
Reviewed May 29, 2014

"The Gathering Place" for Saturday mornings in Fayetteville is the beautiful downtown square to visit the booths of local crafts and farmers and enjoy the tastes of food trucks and the sounds of musicians. The Farmers Market opens in April and stays open through the summer. Around Thanksgiving, the square comes alive with extraordinary lights and music and carriage rides to celebrate the holidays with Lights of the Ozarks.

If you are looking for a starting place in Fayetteville go Downtown to the Square and Gardens. There is an eclectic mix of stores, restaurant and entertainment. Plan a visit on Tuesday or Saturday to experience the Fayetteville Farmer's Market.

Held at the courthouse square, this was a real farmer's market with some of the nicest vegetables and flowers you have ever seen.

“Excellent for locals and visitors”
Reviewed May 4, 2014

We were travelling through the area and saw notices for a Farmer's Market.
What a pleasure - young, old, kids, dogs, musicians, entertainers, and a huge variety of goods for sale.
I had left my camera in the care - parking is free by the way. I should have taken pictures of the way the vendors display their vegetables and flowers. This is an art form of itself. They are all cut and displayed in perfect order with the ends towards the customer. Fantastic!

The volume of people present speaks loudly for the popularity of the Market Square.,

Don't miss it!
