Visited Terra Studios on a Wednesday afternoon to see the birthplace of my wife's bluebird of happiness collection. We were facinated by the amount of art pieces on display by a number of artists. When we went to see the bluebirds being made, we were disappointed to find out there was an issue with the furnace being used that day and no pieces were being done. While standing there, the owner Jamie saw us and came to talk to us. When he found out how far we had travelled and we would not be in the area any more, he had one of the bluebird artists create a couple of birds out of another furnace so we could watch the process. Thanks Jamie for what you did for us, you have a couple of fans for life. It is free to view everything, but you will buy something. There is too much cool stuff to get away empty handed.

We visited with Terra Studios with the main purpose to see how the famous bluebirds of happiness were hand blown. While we were there we did see the glass blower making some. In the main studio there are lots of arts and craft items to look at. And in the little cafe the booths are each one decorated in a particular theme. Very inventive. The grounds are decorated with elfs, fairies, wizards and witches....so much fun just to walk around and see all the interesting figures. There is no charge just to look around but it is fun to see all the objects created there at the various studios. Worth the drive from outside Fayetteville.

Very interesting if you like art type attractions. Grounds and building are intersting and there is a gift shop to buy the artist's items. Pottery, jewelry, cards, glassworks and more. You also have to get a bluebird!

The perfect way to spend a day! We take all of our visitors here, no matter what their age. It is a magical place. Make sure you see the inside cave/throne and visit the restaurant, there is lots more to see. We also took the woodburning class and pixi door. Booth were a great new experience. Let yourself be enchanted.

Long time residents of the area, we decided to take our out of town quest south to Fayetteville for a 1/2 day road trip. Location is about 15 miles south east of the city, but an easy drive. The grounds have several areas of interest ( paths) to explore outfitted with a mirage of decorative yard ornaments -but all original art and some impressive murals. Site has really nice gift shop /snack bar . If your passing through the area not a bad way to spend a couple of hours before heading over to Fayetteville for lunch or dinner.
