We are thinking of moving to Fayetteville, and stopped at the The Common Ground coffee shop for a capuchino and to charge a cell phone. We had originally planned to find a motel near downtown, but saw that the Dickson Street Inn was located nearby. Since we wanted to scout out the town anyway, we walked by and climbed the stairs to the attached wine bar, a great view of downtown.
We were greeted and given a tour of the historic hotel, including the downstairs sitting areas, and what became our room, number seven with a sitting area, flat-screen tv, and a jetted tub. We enjoyed a glass of wine downstairs before going out to dinner and returned to our room to relax. The staff was wonderful, answering all of our questions about the town, bringing us a personal continental breakfast, and making sure our Fayetteville experience was great.
We will definitely be back, hopefully soon.
