This was a great family tour. Our boys loved that they got to wear helmets and meet a real miner. Our guide, Jimmy was great! He involved all the kids and was passionate about ensuring we got a true feel for working conditions in the mine and how it used to operate. It was a fascinating insight into their lives, and is the one thing from our 'staycation' that the boys tell everybody about.
