Our party of four enjoyed dinner at The Courthouse while in town for the Monaghan Genealogy Training. We dined here our second evening in Carrickmacross and were pleasantly surprised to find yet another outstanding and unique restaurant. The Courthouse has an intimate vibe that suggests a special evening out, without being stuffy or overly formal. The service was excellent and the food was exceptional. I had roast cod with crab mayonnaise and lentils—fantastic! My cousin had the Hake and deemed it one of the best meals ever. Don’t miss the Courthouse when in town! Very well priced!
