What can we say. Stayed here in The Palour for a week and WOW. Certainly worthy of a comment. My first ever review on Trip Advisor and certainly worthy of it. This place is amazing. They have thought of everything and it is such a lovely place to chill out, relax and recharge. Does what it says on the packet. Everything is thought of and the standard is top class. From the linen to the amenities every thing is thought of. Special mention of the owner Paula who is wonderful. Tap her for places to go and things to do. She is amazing. Great location to explore County Mead which has alot to offer. Being only 1 hour from Dublin Airport and really easy to find this is a perfect getaway. Try the treaments which are great (allbeit slightly expensive) you won't be disappointed. We shall definately be back

We had a wonderful stay at Decoy - it was quiet and relaxing with all the facilities that we needed. The playground came in very useful for our two young daughters and also collecting eggs from the chickens became a highlight.
The accommodation was excellent and we all had great nights sleep!
We would all recommend Decoy and we definitely hope to be back next year.

Absolutely gorgeous setting and the courtyard is idyllic, we stayed in the Parlour which 5 years ago was a milking parlour! Our bedrooms were massive and the double bedroom was complete with a corner bath, the twin room had in fact three single beds and a walk in shower room. There was another toilet and sink downstairs. Lovely IKEA inspired decor and lots of extras like a welcome basket with the most beautiful homemade wheaten bread! Milk, butter and eggs in the fridge and lots of lovely fresh air. Beside us was the Den, downstairs was a big TV with freeview channels and heaps of DVDs and Videos to use, lots of boxed games and kiddies toys. Outside was a small play area with round swing, sandpit and climb on stuff. Best for us was upstairs where there is a very well equipped gym room which is accessible via a code box on the door, a great pool table which only cost one euro to play and a free air hockey table. All in all a really amazing place, not the cheapest selfcatering but for a short break it is ideal.

We very much enjoyed our stay. It is a beautiful and very clean location in a very nice area. Very central to the Hill of Tara and other places.
