We stayed here for a weekend away and I only have positive things to report about the Viewpoint. The owner Paul was very welcoming and has a typical Irish sense of humour. There was a group staying celebrating a 60th birthday when we were there so we were put in a room away from them which was good. The gardens have a covered hut and a BBQ area which is where the 60th party was being held and it looked like a great place to have a small gathering.
The rooms themselves were not what we were expecting - they are motel like and each room has a double sliding door entrance which give you great views out over Carlingford Lough. They have their own en-suite shower/toilet which were a little small but enough for what you need.
Breakfast was good and you could have as many top ups as you needed.
The B&B is only about 5 minutes walk from the town centre too, but Paul offered his own pickup and drop off service which would be great if the weather was bad.More
