“Yummy”
Reviewed October 4, 2013

I was here some time ago, but i still have not forgotten how fab the food was. The prawns pil pil was the best i have ever had and the steak was cooked to perfection. We had been in many different places that night looking for the place we wanted to eat and this was definitely a great choice.

“Wow!”
Reviewed September 11, 2013

loved this restaurant! its exactly what i look for in a place. All the twinkly lights, candles, friendliness etc! They were also doing a brilliant deal, we had checked all round carlingford and didn't see a better one than this. Carlingford itself is an extremely popular and busy little village especially at the weekends. Luckily we were staying for a week and was able to dine here on a Wednesday night. the village is quite pricey so this was right up our street and the food was faultess!

They also do pretty awesome cocktails! More than impressed and will definitely return!

“Absolutely Excellent food, and Service”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

On recommendations of friends, I had a excellent meal in this restaurant in the evening time. Its a bank holiday weekend in Northern Ireland so the village was busy, and the restaurant filled up quickly, however we had a reservation. There were noticeably loads of staff working in this relatively small restaurant, so we had no problems getting, attentive and quick service.

I'd a special for the day, which was half a lobster, with Prawns, and crab claws, accompanied with a side of chips, and mixed vegetables. This was priced at €32.

I will be back, and I will highly recommend this to other people I known.

“Great Seafood”
Reviewed September 10, 2013

This Restaurant and Bistro was an extremely popular venue particularly by younger folk. Most tables were booked in the Bistro but as we were early we were lucky to squeeze in between bookings. I had the seafood chowder whilst my partner had the avocado and crab as a starter both of which was delicious. Both of us had the hot sea food platter as a main course. Servings were large and packed with flavour served with chips and vegetables. We couldn't finish it all. Clearly wherever possible the fish was locally sourced as the waiter behind the bar as able to say exactly where everything came from. Service was fast and efficient. Wine keenly priced. Lovely to find a fish restaurant
