“Pleasant afternoon”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 23, 2014

Stopped here today whilst in Carlingford. Had cod goujons served with chips and my hubby had the vegetarian linguini. Very relaxed pub, staff are pleasant. Food was ok, I thought my cod was a little bland, the dip could be improved upon. My hubby didn't like his dish, he found it very rich so didn't finish it. Too much cream. Had glass of white wine, diet coke and 2 coffees which came to just over 49 euros. Has a pleasant beer garden outside. Would try again as it has a nice atmosphere but would order the beef next time,

“Enjoyable afternoon”

Another successful lunch at PJ O'Hares. We brought our Spanish guests for a truly Irish experience and we're not disappointed. The staff and food never fail to impress.

“So disappointed.... No crab claws!!!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 13, 2014 via mobile

We visited PJs recently, on our way back from Dublin. We have been coming on a regular basis, always ordering the delicious crab claws. Imagine our disappointment therefore when they told us they had taken them off the menu.. In fact all tapas has been removed and the menu significantly reduced, I presume to make things easier in the kitchen.
Please reinstate the crab claws, and we will return!!

“Clearly doing very well!!!”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 7, 2014 via mobile

My family and I returned here on Sunday evening for a family meal after a wedding in the local hotel ,unaware that the last orders are at 8pm, an unfortunately were told at 7.50pm that there was no point staying as we wouldn't have our order placed by 8pm,, needless to say we left and give our £470 meal bill for 12 people to Magees across the path, this little bar is obviously thriving to refuse money like this on a Sunday evening !'!!! But our meal in Magees was fabulous !!
