The location is not ideal unless you're playing golf and want to use thecostisure facilities during your stay. If you wanted to go Dublin using public transport you have to take a taxi into Swords. This will cost you €13 each way. The bus service from Swords is good. You have the choice of the regular service which has lots of stops €3
50 each way or the direct Swords to Dublin City Centre. Not sure of the cost as we didn't use it. Over all we enjoyed our stay at Roganstown Golf and Spa Resort. Would we visit again? Yes

OK, maybe not terrible. But a major downer. Nice enough public space, but rooms need major refresh. Could you have told us on checking in that the power in the room wouldn't work unless we inserted our room key in a little slot behind the door? Oh, and what are the chances neither room phone would work? Yet another Bataan-death march down to the lobby.

World Cup was on-Hey, maybe we can watch some in the lounge and get some dessert. Sorry-front desk says it's after 10, so kitchen is closed. See the fam off to bed-had an earli-esh flight the next morning-then back to the lounge around 11 to catch some of the game. Desserts are flying out of the kitchen-oh well.

I cannot think of any redeeming features of the hotel-ok, maybe one. It is near the airport. It just seems there would be better, more convenient options as close or closer. I wouldn't stay here again. Not worth the effort.

Do stop in downtown Swords-cute little area with some decent dining options for being so close to the airport.

We had our first stay at this hotel in July We were very impressed with the staff who went out of their way to look after us as there was problem with booking. We had executive room which was spacious Upon arrival we had fresh fruit and drinks complimentary in our room. The spa was wonderful I had a facial with Gemma It was excellent. My husband had back massage with Ailish and he was equally pleased We had a meal in their restaurant which you couldn't fault and not too expensive and breakfast was very good They maybe could improve the decor in bedrooms but that was only negative. We would definitely go back in fact we wanted to book first weekend in October but they are fully booked

Room Tip: Executive room gives extra room area complimentary fruit and water

We were exhausted by the flight to Dublin and staying up all day in order to get rid of jet lag. The room was clean, fresh and everything worked. The hot water in the shower was welcome. The people were very helpful. When we forgot to make a dinner reservation, they fitus in, even though they were full up. We had been too tired and befuddled by the travel to think. The food was delicious and plentiful. I loved the coffee at night and the breakfast treats. It was quiet and restful and I would go back today!

What a disappointment. 4 star hotel I don't think so! I wouldn't even rate it as a 3 star.
Unfortunately had three nights stay pre booked and payed for otherwise we would not have stayed.
Booked two triple rooms.
The rooms are old and need a total refurbishment (felt like a hostel bedroom not a four star hotel room) The third bed in each room was a camp bed one for a 4 year old that we were charged 30 euro a night extra for. The other camp bed was for an adult which collapsed in a heap when they sat on the end of it(and they are only a petite light weight). The beds were very hard and uncomfortable with one pillow each and duvets that had tares in the covers. Rooms are stuffy no air condition just a small window to open. Our room was next to the swimming pool and a noise from a pump or something was really annoying all through the night.
One bathroom was extremely small and had no shower curtain, the other bathroom was a good size. Hot water took at least 5 mins to actually come out of the tap and the shower was hot cold! hot cold!
Bar food was not good and it was over priced for what you got. The bar area is dark it needs freshened up it has a musty smell and the furniture needs a good dusting.
Breakfast was a total disaster on the first morning there was no hot food left even though we were down at 9.30am when the staff finally brought some the eggs and bacon were not fully cooked and the rest was cold, my son ended up waiting a further 20minutes before he finally got his full breakfast it was just awful!
When I complained the restaurant manager was very pleasant and promised that she would personally look after us and ensure we had a good breakfast the next day. Second day was better and the restaurant manger couldn't do enough for us unfortunately this didn't last because on our third morning things were just as bad as the first morning.
Spa and swimming pool OMG! changing rooms filthy dirty razor blade lying in shower. Swimming pool just ok but hot tub had a strange smell and steam room felt like you were sitting in a septic tank.
When I complained the member off staff at the reception was very pleasant and told me they would pass my concerns on to management, and what did management do? you've guessed it absolutely nothing didn't even make a point of speaking to me. Never again this hotel is not the hotel thats advertised it is really very poor.
I suppose there are two positives the staff I spoke to were very pleasant and the golf course was very good (so my husband and son told me) Oh.... and theres free wifi, buuuut.....! it didn't work.
I will never stay here again!

Room Tip: I would not recommend a stay at this hotel if your expecting 4 star standards.

We were looking for lunch on our way home from Swords so decided to drop in for a sambo. We had a toasted special and a chicken/salad. It took them 40 minutes to get them. The place was empty and I can see why. Then they gave us 2 euros off for the delay (big deal). Wont be going back there again

This was our final stop on a hectic 3 week long tour of Ireland. Located just outside of the airport, with convenient shuttle service to and from, it provided a much needed day of relaxation and comfort before the long flight home. For golfers, the course looks to be very enjoyable and challenging, though we only had time for some putting practice. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious. The lounge area had a varied menu with delicious offerings. The dining room changed their menu offerings daily depending on what the Chef decided to prepare and was very appealing the two nights we were there. Great place to wind up a trip and wait for your flight or visit first while planning your stay.
