“Fabulous Breakfasts”
Reviewed October 6, 2013

Phil & Tom were excellent hosts.
The smoked salmon breakfasts were as they say "To die for"
They were very helpful to direct us to wonderful dining establishments and to offer help in getting information for us and of general knowledge of the area.
Lovely bedroom and ensuite with view overlooking countyside

I don't think you could ask for a nicer place to stay. The hosts, Phil and Tom, were gracious, helpful, and welcoming. Breakfast was outstanding - with all the salmon I could eat! The location is very convenient to see the ancient church and burial site of William Butler Yeats.

We stayed for 4 nights and it was so relaxing. Tom & Phil are wonderful hosts and nothing was too much trouble. On the first night after a long journey Tom ran us into the centre of Killybegs and recommended a lovely restaurant then picked us up when we were ready to come back. The cleanliness of the room and throughout the house was first class and the home-cooked breakfast was such a great start to the day, in peaceful surroundings. Tom & Phil were full of ideas where to go and what to do. I certainly recommend Drumbeagh House and hope that we will have the chance to go back again. Thanks to our new friends Tom and Phil for a memorable stay.

We were on a biking holiday when we arrived at Drumbeagh House. Phil and Tom were fantastic hosts ensuring that we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The room was extremely comfortable and the breakfast fantastic - a choice of options were offered and I thought the full Irish breakfast could not be surpassed until on our second morning when the smoked salmon and scrambled eggs arrived. It must be the best smoked salmon in Ireland! The advise from Tom and Phil on routes was great and when we arrived in after a day of biking Tom drove us to a restaurant in town.
Many thanks for a great stay.

Have to take a moment to let everyone know that if you stay in Killybegs or anywhere in the county there could be no better place to stay than at Drumbeagh House B and B..
Tom and Phil and fantastic hosts!!They gave us great tips on where to go and what to see in the area, and we greatly appreciated that.. The rooms are bright, clean and comfy,,. The breakfasts are as good or better than any we encountered in our three week stay in your beautiful country.

Thanks Tom and Phil...I hope to visit you again someday!!!

We chose this premise in Killybegs because of it's proximity to Slieve League and all the great woolen mills and outstanding views of southwest Donegal. The place is VERY nice and absolutely immaculate. The breakfasts were wonderful, and the hospitality shown us by Tom and Philomena was delightful and left us feeling like we'd made some new friends. I can't say enough to recommend this B&B if you're traveling at all in southwest Donegal!
