We stayed for three nights in July. Had a fantastic time, the hotel was really clean and fresh. The family room was well sized, The food was beautiful, especially the breakfast (proper suasages and bacon...) The staff could not have been nicer. We have stayed in two hotels since then and they don't come close to the standard of Garryvoe. The kids really enjoyed the Pool...
Look forward to visiting again in the future.

to think of a criticism to make of this hotel... but the best I can do is it was quite windy on the balcony to our room. Pathetic hey!!??

The food was great (and generous in proportion) and the wine list satisfyingly pragmatic (no 1000 Euro Sauvignons to pretend one may get but really can't afford). Staff very friendly and helpful (and a mine of local information - expertise on everything from nearby walks to why the local lighthouse has a red - and not a white - light... honest!).

Dear Hectorium

Great to hear you enjoyed your stay so much, I will pass your praise onto all the staff as they really appreciate the positive feedback, and take great pleasure in delivering a high quality experience to our guests.

Nearly all our staff are from the surrounding locality and have a wealth of local knowledge at hand, on the many things to do and see. Including why the Lighthouse in the middle of the bay uses a red light. It is just one of the many small things they do so well, that sets them apart and makes our hotel so special.

Thank you for taking the time to write to us.

Warmest Regards
Anthony

My friend and I had dinner in this hotel recently and were delighted with the quality and value of the food. We did not stay as we were just passing through but reports from friends that have stayed in this hotel have being excellent.

This is the third year in a row staying at this hotel and it just gets beter and better. The family room was very spacious with fabulous view and balcony. The breakfast area is a little cramped but the food makes up for it. The staff here are so friendly. We ate in the bar with the kids and it was good value. The pool is a bit on the small side but lovely and warm. We'll be back again.

Room Tip: Ask for a sea view.

We had a very pleasant few days in the Garryvoe Hotel recently. We booked a family room and had ample space for our 2 kids. We found the staff at the Hotel extremely helpful especially with our constant demands for sterilising bottles. The hotels swimming pool was a massive attraction to my Toddlers and we spent hours enjoying ourselves their. The main restaurant in the hotel was good and breakfast was exceptional. We ate in the bar on two occasions and both times the service and food was not to the same standard as the rest of the hotel. Overall we had a great stay and will certainly recommend it to friends.
