Carrigaline Court Hotel & Leisure Centre
Ranked #1 of 2 Hotels in Carrigaline
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed January 14, 2013

I stayed here for 2 nights.
The hotel is clean, the breakfast was hearty and the in house home-made brown bread was excellent. We ate at the bar twice (toasted sandwiches) which were delicious. The bar was busy and had a good atmosphere.
The existence of a leisure centre was a bonus and we availed of it one evening.
The staff really make the difference, every member of staff we met from chamber maids, bar staff, reception staff and breakfast manager were extremely helpful, courteous and made our experience all the better.
The hotel is located half way between Cork City Centre and Kinsale so we made the most of this mid way location and ventured on a day trip to Kinsale and another day into Cork City Centre.
We saw little of Carrigaline which in itself is not a tourist destination but the hotel has certainly a very friendly, comforting ambiance and we enjoyed the 2 night weekend break.
With the genuine attentive service from all staff members, the excellent breakfast, the nice bar, I could not fault the experience. - Top marks!

I recently stayed here for just 1 night midweek on business.

The hotel has a big car park, free wi-fi, huge bar area and comfortable spacious bedrooms.

The restaurant is only open in the evenings at the weekend, but no worries as the menu available in the bar, and the quality of the food served was first class.

A good buffet breakfast in the morning and the hotel get my vote for a return visit!

We stayed in this hotel for a family event in the area. It was difficult to get car parking in the carpark, most probably due to a fashion show that was on at the time. We had lunch in bar and found no fault with the food- good atmosphere later on that evening in the bar.
Rooms were spacious and clean
The only black mark was breakfast- the scrambled eggs were like dried out saw dust. The smoked salmon had obviously been out for hours ( or days) and was hard and crusty.
Otherwise a good location and hotel

Stayed at the hotel 06 & 07 NOV 12 during a family wedding, friendly staff, excellent service, very clean and everybody was made feel so welcome. If an example of what the gathering should be in 2013 this hotel not alone sets the standards but goes well beyond in relation to costumer service.

I stayed here whilst meeting friends locally. First impressions on arrival were very good. Exterior looked very well and car park was full. Reception was very welcoming and enthusiastic to help. I had booked a single room but was placed in what I'd call a family room . Room very clean. Room was heated (maybe too much for my own liking) on arrival. The breakfast was lovely in a very pleasant room overlooking the town with staff very friendly and helpful.

We stayed here for 6 nights and could not find fault with anything. The initial impression outside on arrival was one of a luxury hotel that is well placed for exploring County Cork with great access to all roads yet seconds from the open country. Parking was plentiful and the reception on arrival was very friendly and helpful.
The room was spacious well equipped and comfortable, with nicely appointed en-suite.
Except for one night, we ate at the hotel every night as the food was without exception splendid. The menu was varied and daily specials gave plenty choice. Portions were very generous and everything we ate, including the lovely buffet breakfast was excellent
The hotel has leisure facilities which include swimming pool, sauna, and jacuzzi which are included in the room rate and are excellent facilities.
Overall this is a very comfortable, relaxing and very friendly hotel. The staff are to be commended. We are definately coming again

Room Tip: Worth remembering, smokers rooms are available so if you do not smoke, you may want to avoid that co...
