This was a really cool snorkeling trip. The water is so clear that you can see everything. Don't worry about the cold, the dry suits keep you warm enough. Very worthwhile excursion.

This is such a unique experience. The guides were very good and took a lot of time to assist with all the gear and dry suits. Hands and face get very cold but the rest of you stays very comfortable. The pictures are accurate - that is what it is. Not much plant life and no animal life, but a worthwhile view all the same.

We visited Silfra on July 5th for the 18:00 tour. We were greeted right away by Ásgeir who was super helpful and fun- and he introduced us to our guide Eleonora. She started with teaching us some very interesting history of the area Þingvellir and a very detailed explanation of where we would actually be snorkeling in Silfra. It was really cool to know that we are swimming in between two tectonic plates and that it’s the purest water in the world! She made us feel very safe and gave a fun safety speech before we got in the water. The equipment was flawless and the photos Eleonora took for us are amazing but you really need to do the tour for yourself to see how incredible this place is :) thank you Ásgeir and Eleonora for a great evening and memories we will cherish forever. -Dani

I will never forget this experience. I saw colors I have never seen in nature through the crystal waters. I will admit that's the coldest water I have ever been in but Nino our guide kept us laughing and moving! You rock Nino! Best excursion we took in Iceland it's unforgettable!
