We came here on a tour from our cruise ship the house is beautiful and inside the guide explained a little about Gunnar the author and his home and then we wandered around on our own we learnt about the Trolls and the different ones, there is a cafe with homemade cakes and a sovenier shop too.The location is beautiful.

We came at lunch - fell for the brunch buffet - enjoyed the exhibitions, inside and outside and then lay in the grass afterwards and took a nap!

Fair price for a tour of the house.
The staff member was very friendly and he gave us alot of historic information about the house and the area.

We came six together and had the “lerki” mushrooms soup . Very tasteful and great for families to visit. Nice atmosphere and a cozy restaurant.

Stopped here on our drive around the lake. Our guide was very good - she was humourous, informed, interesting and knew her history. Well worth the visit.
