Fantastic view from the top. Monastery grounds well-kept and maintained. Rich records and history of the monks and the monastery, past and present. Prepare to climb up and up till you reach the top of the plateau, where the monastery is located. Can be rather breezy here.

I guess once you visited one Monastery, you've seen it all as they are basically the same inside, but still, it's worth visiting for the small fee.

This monastery is easily the hardest one to reach with long road of winding stairs. As was pointed out there is really little to see in terms of relics or frescoes compared to other monasteries.
There's a relatively flat rock that provides an observation platform and a rudimentary outhouse.
If I didn't have my binoculars with me to enjoy a view of a valley below I could call it a wasted climb.

Thank Seth J

Small chapel inside with wall and celling frescoes easy walk through this monastery. Some walking and escalators. Carved rock ceilings and walls.

It's not bad, really... it's just that after climbing so many steps, you expect to see more. You finally get to the top and enter the monastery to find there is only one room to visit and the path leads you outside towards a cliff with a beautiful view... and an outhouse. Oh, and don't forget the guy who chases you down to collect your 2 euro entrance fee.
