A perfect hotel that does exactly what it says on the tin. Friendly staff, quiet, clean. Air conditioning worked perfectly well, views from the balcony were great. It is on the main street in Gytheio which is potentially noisy but we slept with the door shut and used the air conditioning. One small criticism is that the shower area in the bathroom could have done with more lighting. If we are back in Gytheio we would all be happy to stay there again.

it has been renovated and it was rather decent. The views are awesome but this is all you are going to get! Breakfast was not good . Only grabbed some coffee and went down the road to get some stuffed puffed pastry !Would go back but just for the views

Dear Mrs. Tsakalaki,
thank you for taking the time to review our hotel. We are very happy that you have enjoyed the views from your room. Nevertheless we are very concerned about your comments on breakfast because we currently are in a process of improving it by significantly enriching the items offered in our buffet with local products mainly. At this respect, we are aiming to apply for the certification of the Greek authorities for our breakfast to be considered officially as "Greek Breakfast". So, we would like to invite you to visit us again in the following months, and we are sure that then you will enjoy both our views and breakfast.

We had a sea view room but unfortunately the air was thick with the smell of automobile fumes, scooters, diesel trucks and the hot asphalt all from the main road below. The room was clean, furniture and fixtures fine, mattress was very firm. The bathroom reeked of a horrible sewer/mould smell coming from the plumbing drains. It was an uncomfortable and noisey night. The wifi worked only intermittently. There was no lingering over breakfast, selection and quality were poor.

I've stayed at the hotel previously 3 years ago. This hotel still offers the best quality at a good price. Ideally located on the promenade in Gythion with adequate on street parking. This hotel offers good bed and breakfast opportunities whilst being a great base to visit many sites and beaches in the Peloponnese including the beautiful Mani peninsular.
This hotel is suitable for singles and couples, being very close to the local restaurants.
I am always happy to stay here, and will continue to in the future. It should certainly be considered in this part of Greece.
I have never experienced issues at this hotel with school parties etc, but it is a holiday hotel and I would always expect occasional noise, but having a sea facing room would always make up for any problems. The view of the bay is lovely.

Room Tip: I would pay the additional cost to have a sea-view room especially on the 3rd floor and try for a co...

What a great hotel. We booked two rooms with views of the waterfront. Magnificent. Rooms, service, breakfast all good. Only trouble in the small fishing village of Gythio is the parking, It's all street parking and it's first in best dressed. We were there in July11 in the peak season and at worst we had a 3 minute walk to our hire car. This a beautiful place to visit. Plenty of eating options on the waterfront. Best swimming is a 5 minute drive to Mavrovouni, which also has beach bars/clubs. A ship wreck on the shore in the other direction is a fun visit. From here we visited the Mani (beach called Marmari), the Caves of Dirou and Monemvasia. You simply must go. We stayed 3 nights and thoroughly enjoyed this area of Greece.

Room Tip: Pick rooms overlooking the water. Beautiful and serene. Watch people walking along the promenade and...

We stayed in a double room for two nights. All in all we were content and would go there again. The hotel would have rated 5 stars, if the breakfast hadn't been that disappointing. Although the posting isn't cheap (fortunately it was included when I've booked)

positive:
+ nice room and bathroom
+ we've booked a room with partial seaside and still had a wonderful view over the water
+ well-tended hotel
+ perfect location (directly situated at the sea and the promenade)
+ nice staff

negative:
- breakfast
- dirty toilet brush and toothbrush tumber (but the rest was pretty clean)
