We were in Kalavrita for the Greek Independence day in March 2012 and ate at this restaurant. I have to say the food was fantastic, and the staff was so friendly. The owner, Kostas came to talk with us. He was very pleasant. We didn't use a menu, we were just talking to the owner about what was good and his wife brought us several tasty things.I had a pork steak and greek style salad. My husband had lamb. My daughter had chicken and some pasta. We also had a spicy feta dip with bread, some meatballs, fresh bread and potatoes, and many more things, but I can't remember what else.
The decor was very nice and homey, with a very nice fireplace, and in one corner was a spit to cook meat on.
Also, when we first got there, it was not too crowded, around 7pm, but as we stayed the restaurant filled with people. I didn't notice anyone smoking though, which is good because i don't smoke and can't stand to be around it.
Oh, and after we ate they bring you a nice bowl of Greek yoghurt with honey! Very tasty!
I loved the food and the service, and I would definitely eat there again if i were in the area.
