I have been choosing this hotel because it was near the village I had to be next morning.
Easy to find, typical large bulding like they have in the area, everything extremely clean, very nice room with balcony, good restaurant and an excellent indoor swimmingpool with a sauna.

- Location : Ideal for relaxing. Really quite.
- Find hotel : It's easy if you have a navi. But be careful, the entrance of the town is blocked temporarily
- Check in : It was really good. Even though the host is stay only until 10PM, you can call to the hotel to request to hide the key somewhere outside of the hotel so that you can enter your room after 10PM. Finding the key was my check-in process.
- Room : I stayed in a family room. That was a bit smaller than I expected. There is a pretty terrace. The best thing is view from the room. It's like a landscape painting.
- Facility : TV and telephone is old but that's not a problem at all. You can see the outside instead of TV.
- Bed : So so. Linen quality is good enough.
- Bathroom : The bathroom was too small, and there's no bathtub. Family room need more space in the bathroom.
- Cleaness : Good. There's a lot of unidentified flying objects at night so that I can't open the window.
- Swimming pool : A bit old, and quite small. But it was warm and clean.
- Breakfast : traditional family breakfast. It would be much better if they served warm dishes.
- Check out : Actually, that was not that warm-hearted. I used a 3 adults-family room for 4 person including my 9 & 6 year old children without any extra bed, but she charge me 10 euro more for my 6 year old daughter's breakfast. It's reasonable of course, but I expected a rural things.
- General : If you really need a swimming pool in the area, this hotel is one of the best option. (Actually that's my case) In the other case, you'd better take cheaper one.

Room Tip: You can take 1st or 2nd floor with a heavy luggage. They have an elevator.

We were in transit from Munich to Colmar-region of France, looking for a small village and a hotel with easy parking. This was ideal for both. For once, the photo you see of a hotel on a web site is exactly what you find upon arrival. Ample parking is on other side of hotel. The host was very friendly. The room was very clean and comfortable. Breakfast in the restaurant was good.. We did not eat dinner in the restaurant, since there were some very interesting places to eat in the small village. However, on Sat night the restaurant appeared to be busy. The small village is within easy walking distance from the hotel. If you are looking for a nice stopover, this is a winner.

We knew it is a bit far away from town center but as we'd have a car, we didn't mind at all. The check in time is a bit late (4pm) but the connected apartments for us are perfect. Spacious rooms with comfortable (and large) living room and balcony. We could see the abbey on the sofa of the living room. The kids were very excited as they could run around the 2 rooms. Washroom was again very large but with a small tub.

Breakfast was also good. Ham, bread, cheese, yogurt, juice and egg. Just good enough to start a day. The dinner served there was delicious of reasonable price. Have to reserve the day before. Everything was just fine!

One terrific spot. Above the town of Ottobeuren, with a view of the abbey. Nestled right at the foot of a forest with walking paths at your doorstep. We had a room over the lower roof, with a balcony. The restaurant serves wonderful meals. One of the best things I had in my 11 days in Germany I had here. Breakfast was included in the 258 euros we paid for three nights, all taxes included. A bit of a climb up to it from the town, but it's relative seclusion was worth it. Unfortunately, in March one of those mega-monster hotel complexes opened up right next door. This is a family owned place and it shows. Beautifully decorated, your eyes will find something fascinating at every turn. Loved it.
