I had wanted to stay at this hotel for years-the grounds are beautiful but our room on the third floor facing the court year was liken to a small dark closet. I wouldn't stay there again as a don't know way the ghosts stay! The staff was "cool" not especially helpful with any local information. again. I was disappointed. Another reason I would not go there again is the motorcycle and their noise.

Enjoyed our two nights in this historic hotel. Pleasant and comfortable. 2 breakfasts were included in the cost and the buffet was satisfactory and the made to order omelets were excellent. Nice pool area, although the hot tub wasn't working while we were there. Nice getaway.

Room Tip: Didn't realize it was a "haunted" hotel when we booked and would not have wanted to st...

My husband surprised me for our wedding anniversary with a trip to Eureka Springs. When we pulled up to this hotel I was in awe at its beauty and the view of the mountains and trees were amazing. The hotel is very old so a few things could be repaired but it was so pretty I didn't mind. Our room was fine, bathroom was okay and the service was good. It is expensive but I loved it just for the experience. I will definitely be returning.

Good location, room was nice, check out the bar upstairs, good food (except no breakfast during the week), skip the Ghost Tour, opt for the Downtown and Underground Tour and the Ghost Tour at The Crescent Hotel.

Room Tip: We had a room by the elevator which I though would be noisy. It actually proved to be quite a good l...

The hotel is old, 1886, and in need of a touch-up. I love old, historic buildings but believe cosmetic changes should be on-going. The entry was a mix of pretty landscaping with ragged carpet on the outside stairs leading into the hotel. A small repair makes a huge difference in curb appeal. The lobby is dark and not very clean, stains on the carpet and couches and dirty windows. All of these things are easy and not expensive fixes. The room we stayed in had beautiful windows but the curtains were dirty and we could barely see out due to film over windows. The bed was comfortable and clean, bathroom ok, towels clean. I was really disappointed at first but eventually I grew to like the hotel. The staff is great! The breakfast and brunch is very good. The views are impressive. Without sounding like a bore, I would have enjoyed my stay more if only hotel guest were allowed. I understand people are curious about the Hotel but roaming the halls, swimming in the pool and letting children run and yell is a bit much for non-guests. If the standard would be set higher, I would return.

Room Tip: King balcony corner was bigger and nice views.

Very welcoming. We recieved excellent service from the spa, diner, to the front desk. The place is charming but be prepared for hot/cold showers. The food at the 4th floor is below average. The daily breakfast is fine, much better when served with champagne. Definitely feels like a couples getaway. Really depends what you want from your vacation.

I've long been interested in visiting this majestic old hotel as a guest, and just got my opportunity. Gorgeous hotel and grounds and breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Absolutely loved the lobby and the concierge area. The history and spooky stories can't be beat, and the rooms are certainly unique. Loved the old fireplace in our room added for effect, as well as the antiques in the room, although the chair was in need of a good dusting and was no longer made for sitting in (the cushion wasn't up to holding any more derrieres). On the plus side, the hotel provided shuttle service to the downtown area and other points of interest in town, and they had daily activities for visitors, which we would have really loved to have participated in but didn't have time. The bed was comfortable and we got a peaceful rest -- no ghostly disturbances. A couple of cats roam the hotel and are special touch for us critter lovers.
There is a lot you can do at the hotel and also in the surrounding area. If you do stay, consider taking the ghost tour; even if you don't believe the hotel is haunted, you'll learn more about the history of the hotel and get to tour some unique points of interest. Before you go on the tour, you can purchase a quick snack at the Crescent "Sweet Shop" next to the lobby.

This hotel is like celebrating a Victorian Halloween, all year long. Would definitely love to return one day.
