4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 3, 2013 via mobile

I picked this motel from reviews I read on eurekasprings.com & tripadvisor...it was a gamble. I'll start with the bad news... The front office. Was dark & unattractive. We were told we would have. A. Room with a view... of treesI. Was very relieved when we stepped into our room. It was VERY clean, nice linens, plenty of space. We had no problems with wifi and the kids loved the pool. After driving through town & seeing some of the other places, I felt very lucky to have found this place. Staff was very friendly & helpful. Laundry facilities were $1 was 50 cents for dryer:) nice shower with lock on bathroom door & exhaust fan. Movie night for kids every evening at 8:30

I brought my mom to the Opera for her birthday and looked for a locale close to the theatre. This hotel did not disappoint. CLEAN! The white, pillow top duvets made the sleep like home-away-from-home. The hotel offers a large buffet or server style restaurant with a grand variety. Dollar General and McDonalds are close by and the trolley tours are just down the street. The price is right. the location is right. I would highly recommend this hotel to germ conscious travelers.

Upon arrival, we were upgraded to double beds when the clerk found out we had small children with us (originally had a king size bed!). I've stayed in 5-Star hotel that weren't as nice and clean as our room! The staff was always very helpful, the pool is fantastic along with putt-putt golf, air hockey, pool tables, ping-pong and arcade games for the kids...Had breakfast at Myrtle Mae's and it was excellent! Our room was very large and very accommodating for a group of 4..

Room Tip: Definitely ask for rooms on the back side of motel (it's quieter and closer to the pool area)

Arrived just before noon and was told we were getting the last two rooms available. Although our rooms were not ready, the clerk said she would call when the rooms were clean. We headed off to the bars and not too much longer I received a call that our rooms were all set.

The rooms were a bit dated, however they were fine. It would appear the bathrooms may have been remodeled. Aside from a water stain on the ceiling the rooms were okay. Again, as for a place to sleep, they were fine.

Overall, for the price I would have expected a little more, however this is Eureka Springs and those hotels are always going to be busy.

I would say this an excellent location as you're not downtown, but close enough if you want to walk downtown.

This was probably a nice place back in the late 60's or early 70's but it desperately needs a face lift. Our room smelled musty and so did the pillows. The bathroom area looked better than the rest of the room. There is a well worn recreation area out back beside an outdoor pool. It has outside corridors and no elevators. The desk clerks were friendly.

Beautiful room with large dressing area with coffee maker, sink and closet area. Commode and shower/tub in separate room. Chair with foot rest, table and lamp. Desk with rolling chair. TV on dresser and a padded bench. Most important was the comfortable pillow top bed. Outside entrance. Only improvement that's needed is a small frig.

5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 25, 2013

We stayed here during a business trip. When we arrived at night, we were tired from traveling after a long day. The gentleman at the reception was very pleasant and gave us our rooms on the 2nd floor, facing the pool and scenery. He said he gave us an upgrade to rooms with a fridge but I didn't check it out to see if this was true or if all the rooms had fridges. I must say that the room was must nicer than I had anticipated. It was large, clean, flat screen tv and the bed was very comfortable. There was a door to the outside deck area although it was a shared deck with other rooms. We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant as we were too tired to drive anymore and it was storming badly. The food was fantastic but right in the middle of dinner, we lost power as the storm was raging outside. At times it appeared the trees were going to come right through the windows. The staff kept things lit with flashlights and we ended up staying while the worst of the storm passed as they did not want us venturing outside. We got into our rooms later but the power was out until around 4:00 a.m. so I really didn't get to appreciate the room and it was hard to fall asleep as there were alarms going off all night. This certainly wasn't the hotels fault. The next morning it was still raining and we checked out. Our dinner bill was added to our checkout bills as we couldn't pay during the storm with our credit cards. All was fine and they welcomed us back for the next time, stating hopefully our weather would be better. We couldn't agree more. All in all, it was a nice hotel and the staff was very friendly.
