Best Western Eureka Inn
Ranked #5 of 35 Hotels in Eureka Springs
Certificate of Excellence
Reviewed November 8, 2012

My wife and I stayed at the Eureka Inn in late October and early November. We had requested specific accommodations and a refrigerator for our room. About a week in advance we got a call from the staff to confirm our requests and to see if there were any additional requests we wanted to make. Upon arrival everything was as we expected. As noted by others this is an older property but it is well maintained and an excellent value for the money. The rate includes a full breakfast and it was more than satisfactory. All the staff we met were very friendly and helpful. We would recommend this hotel to others and we will return again on our next trip to Eureka Springs.

This is an older property. Our room was in the old motel style with an outside entrance. The room was very outdated and dark with an older style TV. The bathroom was pretty clean but not sparkling clean. I think the whole room and bathroom need a renovation. I was told upon check out that they do have a newer section for the same price. I asked how does a person get the new section and I got no real answer. My reservation was made many months ahead and the place was not crowded. You would think they would fill up the newer section first. Anyway, the staff was not especially friendly or helpful. No information was given on the area including the trolley stop. I tried to obtain information but it wasn't offered easily. The best part about the stay was eating the complimentary breakfast in the Gazebo Restaurant. The place was adorable and the food was great. There was no buffet but just a small menu to order from. Maybe when they are more crowded they offer the buffet. The location was great since the downtown area was a short drive down the street. I would only recommend this hotel if a room in the newer section was available.

Room Tip: Try to get a room in the newer section

Thank you so much for your comments and review Travmama, we greatly appreciate you staying with us during your visit to historic Eureka Springs as well as your comments and feedback. As I am not sure of the date of your stay, I am pleased to bring you some update news. Within the past two years the hotel has renovated over 25% of the rooms throughout the property many with refrigerators. Most recently during this Summer and Fall the property completed full renovation and installation of 5 ADA / handicap accessible rooms at a cost of around $75,000 and even more recently all rooms have had new LG 37" flat pannel LCD televisions installed. Starting on Nov 18th another renovation project begins as well.

It is great to hear that the breakfast provided continues to be very highly rated by our customers and helps us set the standard for Eureka Springs in many ways.
Travmama, we look forward to your return visit to Eureka Springs & hosting you again at our property. Please do not hesitate to contact the property or management directly at any time as we are always here to serve.

Loved our stay here! All staff were very friendly and helpful! Management staff was frequently walking the facility making sure guests were comfortable and happy! The facility was clean, quiet and beautiful. The pool and hot tub were very nice and clean - hot tub is indoors making it great for winter stays! On-site restaurant offered great food and atmosphere! Location is central and very convenient to all local attractions. We will definitely be staying here on our next visit to Eureka!

We had reservations for a Sunday night in late Sept. It wasn't very busy but the rooms were very nice and the breakfast was better than most. The staff was very helpful. It has it's own stop on the free trolley which really helps you get into town without the parking hassle. We would stay here again.

Thank you Mr. Jones for letting us know of your experience and for the great tips to others about taking the trolley from our location. It really is the best way to see the town and being the closest modern hotel to downtown it makes it quick trip. Very glad to hear that the free breakfast exceeded your expectations, that is what we strive for. Looking forward to seeing you on your return trip!

This is an older property in a central location in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The furnishings are old style but the room appeared clean. Sheila took our reservations and was pleasant and helpful. Check in was quick. We were given a card that said the "special breakfast" was free, or we could use the card toward $4.00 on the regular menu. Imagine my surprise when the "special breakfast" was a very large buffet, including almost any item found on the most extensive buffet. Our server was pleasant and attentive. The oversized hot tub area was a nice bonus as well. There are no new properties in the immediate area, so this is probably one of the best options, although, as I said, it was an older property, nothing fancy.

Staff was friendly & helpful. Clean & spacious single room has king bed and wet bar with fridge & coffee maker. A micro would have been nice. Sometimes you just don't feel like going out to dinner. Close to historic down town and convenient to Great Passion Play.

Room Tip: Try to get a room that is not close to Hwy 62 for a quieter evening.

Hotel Right on Hwy 62N right at Hwy 23N (S Spring St) which leads to the old part of town. Grounds are kept nicely. Rooms a little dated but clean and spacious. One of the things I appreciated most was the room smelled clean but not like Lysol or room fragrance! The bathroom and sink set up is roomy and convient for two. Hotel is pet friendly and has wifi. The room I stayed in had a king bed, couch, chair and armour with tv and was was very comfortable. Carpet in my room was not stained and clean. One of our group used the heated swimming pool and said it was great. Jacuzzi was not working at that time. We took advantage of the free breakfast which is made to order from a menu. It was good and the staff serving it were friendly. Watch the ES Preservation tax they charge. When we questioned it they took it off.
