My husband and I stumbled upon The Peabody House on a last-minute anniversary trip to Eureka Springs. The Peabody House made us wish we had planned to stay longer. We stayed in the beautiful Dashwood Suite, which was comfortable, warm, quite, and very romantic. The biggest advantage for us, though, was the excellent service. The innkeeper, Faryl, took us "under her wing." She gave us great suggestions of what to do (the best band in town that night) and where to have a mind-blowingly good dinner. She was friendly, excited to have us as guests, and really made us feel like we were staying with an old friend. There are many places in Eureka Springs we could stay, but this is the place we want to stay when we return.

We love Eureka springs, Ar. We go there every year to get away and enjoy the town. We our favorite place to stay is the Peabody house because of the location and the special rooms that are so wonderful to stay in. The house is the perfect place to stay .

We loved the Rivendell Cottage at the Peabody House. We picked it entirely from Tripadvisor reviews, and we were thrilled with the choice. The location is superb, just a short walk down to Main Street in Eureka Springs. The cottage is small but very nice, with an incredibly comfortable bed. The furnishings and decor are very tasteful, which is sometimes a stretch in this area. The pastries in the morning were delicious, and the Keurig coffee maker was a nice touch. The huge jetted tub worked well, as did the shower. There's even a towel warmer!

And finally, the inkeeper, Faryl, is really nice. It's so important to me to deal with friendly staff, and Faryl goes above and beyond. She made great restaurant suggestions, and talked all about things to do and see in Eureka.

I would highly recommend the Peabody House to anyone.

We stayed for our anniversary. Needed quiet and leisure, got both and more! Rooms are incredibly decorated, breakfast breads delicious. We liked being able to enjoy our breakfast in the room or on the balcony. Extra care for making you feel at home. Within walking distance to downtown and trolly. Beautiful veiw of downtown Eureka Springs and surrounding mountains. Owner very helpful guiding us to great restaurants and things to do. Would definately stay here again!

This is the second time we've stayed here and were even more impressed the second time. It's been very well maintained, it's convenient to shops/restaurants, comfortable, and high end. Will definitely be back.

Parking was a bit tight, otherwise the Peabody House is delightful. The Dashwood suite was very clean and large with plush furnishings, including a towel warmer and bathrobes, a mini-fridge, microwave and Keurig coffee maker. The location is right downtown and an easy walk to all the shops & restaurants. All in all, our experience at Peabody House was everything we hoped it would be: romantic and restful - and we look forward to returning.
