I planned a belated birthday weekend in Eureka Springs for my two sisters and myself, as we all wanted to relax and de-stress.
After much searching for a B&B, I selected Cliff Cottage B&B’s Sarah Bernhardt suite. The owners were most charming individuals, both in answering frequent email inquiries, and during our stay. Their Inn seemed one of very few B&B’s that could accommodate more than just romantic getaways for couples, although judging from the other guests there, they do that wonderfully as well!
We loved the not-to-early-morning visits from the elf with our silver platter breakfast in tow, the impeccably decorated (and spotless!) suite, the convenience of having the central Trolley station with access to every ‘line’ right down the hill on a short stairway, and we hung on every word of the fascinating adventure stories told by Sandra and Arthur when we popped over.
We chose the Cliff Cottage for its location and its style, but THEY make it the ‘perfect B&B’ that it is. Thanks so much for everything, our most hearty recommendation for your establishment!
Just got back from 5, yes 5! nights in Eureka Springs. Loved Sandra and Arthur and everything about The Cliff Cottage Inn. We chose the Emily Dickinson Suite and were very impressed. The decor was beautiful, the bed SO comfortable, everything was spotlessly clean. Normally we are travelers, not vacationers, meaning that we’re out the door early in the morning and really don’t relax on vacation. This time, we intended on some rest and relaxation and The Cliff Cottage Inn was perfect for this. Having to wait for a spectacular breakfast to be delivered around 9:15, we had no other choice than to sleep in and then settle down with some books each morning. As for that breakfast, well, it was worth waiting for. For example, our first morning our silver tray contained: individual soufflés, champagne glazed pork chops, Parmesan roasted potatoes, mini croissant and a mélange of fresh fruit. Add to this a glass of juice and fresh butter and jam and you’ve can rightly guess that we didn’t eat lunch a single day of our trip! Sandra kindly clued us in to which restaurants in town are worth visiting and she never led us astray. Favorite was Caribe! If you go there, please don’t pass up the seven salsa appetizer, we went twice just for that! Thank you Arthur for the tour of the new cottage still under renovation, we hope to return and stay there ourselves one day. Thank you Sandra for all the little details from the tray of goodies (cookies and such) to the assortment of sodas in the fridge. She even supplies you with some fresh half and half for your coffee! We enjoyed our visit enormously and you can’t go wrong with staying at The Cliff Cottage Inn.
