My husband and I had the weekend alone and decided to head North. We ended up in Eureka on a Sunday evening. We stopped at EureKan Art Gallary and met the kindest man. We chatted with him about needing a place to stay and he mentioned the Belladonna. I knew right away from the pictures on the website, this was our place. We phoned Patti who was kind and literally stopped what she was doing to accommodate us. We arrived at the Belladonna and immediately felt like we had found a home away from home. The energy and peace this cottage exudes can't be described. Patti showed us around and absolutely left no detail out! From the CD collection to the books, to the organic coffee to the tea lights for the outdoor jacuzzi bath...we had not one "want" that wasn't met. The bed was comfortable!! The windows that surrounded us allowed the sun to flitter in and wake us. We did NOT want to leave our new hidden treasure. This place, I pray, will remain around for many years to come.

Room Tip: We stayed downstairs in the garden suite. It offered a great morning view of the sunrise.

The Belladonna Cottage, located just minutes from downtown Eureka Springs, is a real find. It’s tucked away so deep that the owner, Patti, has you call when you get into town and directs you step-by-step. The cottage is split into two private levels – you can choose the street level or the garden level.

Set against a picturesque forest backdrop, the first thing you notice is the striking beauty of nature. As you walk down the curvy stone path to the entrance you are greeted by unique yard art, cozy seating areas and an inviting fire pit. The garden-level features a simple patio complete with an outdoor bathtub.

The inside of the cottage is designed to melt away stress and welcome inspiration. Light jazz is playing, incense is burning and both one-of-a-kind and world-famous art brighten the space. Simple white linen fabric lines the bedposts, an old-fashioned claw-foot bathtub with a vintage showerhead adorns the bathroom and the kitchenette is stocked with organic coffee and breakfast. This place oozes Zen and relaxation.

I can’t recommend the Belladonna enough.

Room Tip: The garden level features an outdoor bathtub… can't really go wrong.

I've been going to Eureka for years, but have never really found that perfect place to stay. I wanted a place that had the same feeling as Eureka — funky, unique, calming, comfortable. The Belladonna will be my go-to spot from now on! It was such a relaxing experience with all of the little details considered: cotton robes, organic coffee and chocolate, stunning back deck with day bed, outdoor jacuzzi, etc. This is not your run of the mill hotel or cabin. Perfect for those who want a unique experience. We went for a girls weekend, but I already have visions of visiting again with my husband.

My girlfriends and I rented out both units of the Belladonna Cottage this past weekend for a birthday weekend away from our kids and families. Everything was perfect! The decor is tasteful, creative, and beautiful. We loved being able to cook our own meals and sit in the jacuzzi outside. The new koi pond and landscaping show that the Belladonna is always being improved upon. Patti thought of everything we might need for a perfect getaway weekend - robes, blankets, good coffee and breakfast foods. We had perfect weather that was just the icing on the cake for our relaxed, rejuvenating, fun weekend away for us. I highly recommend The Belladonna to anyone wanting a private, beautiful space to stay in Eureka Springs. Anyone from newlyweds seeking a romantic getaway to a group of friends to families would love this special, magical spot.

If your are looking for the typical B&B experience then the Belladonna may not be for you. If your looking for a laid back secluded oasis just minutes away from the hectic pace of Eureka Springs yet away from the crowds then this is the place.

Artistic, eclectic, clean and secluded make the Belladonna a hidden gem. We stayed in the garden level suite and it was so refreshing. The garden suite sit on the lower level of the house overlooking a deep valley, the only thing behind the suite is hills, valleys, and trees all the way to Missouri. Regular visits by songbirds and deer help connect you with beauty of the Ozarks. A winding stone path leads you from your car through a rock garden, flowers, a gold fish pond, outside sitting area down to the covered porch which hosts some comfy chairs and couch next to a fresh water jetted jacauzzi tub.

Patti has done a great job of creating a warm, comfortable, eclectic place filled with art and personality. We will be back.

If you are looking to get away and spend time in a romantic secluded cottege just minutes away from main street this is the place.

The Belladonna is an amazing oasis! We had the best, most relaxing and romantic trip we've ever taken. Honestly, this was even better than our honeymoon. The atmosphere at the Bella is so peaceful, artistic, and just perfect for a relaxing getaway. We enjoyed exploring the uniqueness of this converted B&B house-the art, furniture, scenery and beautiful gardens. Exploring the unique shops in town was so fun. Patty was so helpful showing up good places to walk and visit since it was our first time. She met us at the Bella and showed up the amenities, told us about Eureka, she even drew us up a little map. She also stocked the fridge with gluten free english muffins for my husband who is allergic to gluten. Patty is amazing and has created such a lovely place. Thanks, Patty for the a wonderful trip! We never called to say thanks or let you know how much we enjoyed our stay. We loved it and will definitely be back

Room Tip: Try the street view suite. It was quaint and so unique.

We have stayed at the Belladonna most falls for the past 7 or so years. We are both very busy working professionals who, when we get away, love to be in a peaceful, relaxing and restorative place. The Belladonna is one of our favorite places. In fact, we decided a couple of years ago that if we can't stay at the Belladonna we won't visit Eureka Springs because the Belladonna is such a big part of the Eureka experience for us. The calm, but vibrant interior, the patio and, of course, the outdoor bath tub are the BEST! Patti, the owner is absolutely great as well. Can't wait til its time to visit again!
