“Best Food in Eureka Springs!”
Reviewed October 8, 2007

We discovered this wonderful restaurant on our last trip to Eureka Springs. The food is quite delicious and after trying their breakfast we returned for the lunch buffet. We definitely have made it our favorite in Eureka Springs!!!

“Scrumptious food and friendly, fast service!”
Reviewed October 16, 2006

My husband and I ate here 3 days in a row; from their smorgasbord to their menu items, we were not a bit disappointed. And you can’t leave Eureka Springs without trying one of Forest Hill’s woodfire pizzas! Their menu items are reasonably priced and are generously proportioned too. Their staff was friendly and prompt. Forest Hill offers a nice set down dinning experience; even if you may have a bit of a wait to be seated, it's worth it.

“If food could be ugly... this was the place”
Reviewed August 21, 2006

We had been told by several locals to eat elsewhere but wanted to use a place close to where on of our friends was staying. We did not find the staff helpful, had to request refills on drinks and while the breakfast buffet had a nice selection the food was not up to standards I have found in most tourist locals I have visited.

The eggs were dry and over cooked. They would not substitute fresh eggs for what was on the bar. All the food seemed like it had been on the bar for some time. Overheated texture. Maybe just not busy enough for food turnover.

I would recommend Myrtie Mae's. Great food, service and everyone is extremely friendly.

“Great Pizza but~~~~~”
Reviewed July 21, 2006

Forest Hills does have good pizza. Great, as a matter of fact but the buffet scares me as well as the decor. Your correct about ordering off the menu. It's the only way to eat there. There are so many fantastic places to eat in Eureka that really care about what there place looks like and have a genuine interest in there custumers. Your right about the price as well. You can eat at some first rate places for that price even less. Sparky's for lunch or casual dinner. Ermillo's for a dinner that you won't ever make a trip to Eureka and pass up again. Your in a cute old town, don't skip in the food experience.

“TV Dinners!”
Reviewed July 5, 2006

Ate here last night. Looked nice outside. Staying at Holiday Inn Express next door and loved being able to walk over. Salad bar okay but buffet tasted like it had been reheated and reheated - specifically like the food used to taste in the tv dinners of the 70's. Cost was $9.50 per person for buffet. You could order off menu if you liked. Should have tried that instead, I guess. Surely it would have been better???? DO NOT order the buffet! I would just beware the restaurant in general unless you don't want to drive somewhere else. I must tell you earlier in the day that a local told us to go somewhere else but we didn't listen... Convenience was great but food was not!
