It was great to visit this restaurant in the off-season as there is extremely limited seating (especially for groups of more than two). Despite the off-season it was full although you didn't feel rushed by what I suspect will be a long waiting line in the high season.

The menu can only be described as eclectic. Ark-Mex that was more similar to the Turk-Mex I've enjoyed in a few places in Turkey than Tex-Mex. During our visit the cook and wait staff were one-and-the-same yet the service--and back-and-forth conversation between the cook and patrons--were both enjoyable and attentive.

A most quaint American cafe, cozy, good food, good coffee, and Mexican food with a unique style of its own. Excellent salsa. You will like it. Cash only.

Shhh...don't tell anyone about the Oasis or you might have to stand in a longer line to wait on one of the few tables they have. It's a favorite with the locals and travelers. You do have to walk down some stairs to get there from the main street. They are open mid-day and not in the evening. Salsa made fresh every day. Lemon zest iced tea. Specials may include a fresh fish or tofu. The original menu is sure to have something for everyone. Chicken Enchiladas are great. This is our favorite place to go for Mexican food. Actually, it's our favorite place to eat during the day in Eureka Springs.

This is one of those hidden gems you would expect to find in Eureka. Don't go if you are looking for fine dining. This is just great food in a funky, chilled out setting. Very small place, close to other diners, so get ready to visit. The owner is a happy, free spirit. We had enchiladas from the weekly special menu. We tried the mushroom spinach chipotle, pork mole, and barbacoa enchiladas. All were fantastic, with a special nod to the pork mole. Salsa was great too. Everything was super fresh and made to order. Last note...be patient. Might have to wait a bit for your food and your check, but all worth it.

Cozy and funky. A hippies Mexican. Friendly place, feels like eating at a friends place. It's hidden so look for it.
