The food was very good. Our waitress was too busy while two women stood and chatted at the entrance as hostess and cashier. I would think one of the two could have filled beverages and bussed tables. We would go again. Just felt badly for our waitress.

We ate Thanksgiving lunch at the convention center. Wow, it was good. Turkey was so moist and the deserts were spectacular. We tasted 4 different ones! I couldn't resist. The next day, we had a late breakfast/lunch there and ended up getting the fried chicken and it was perfect! Will go back there for sure!

This place deserves its reputation as THE place for breakfast, if only for the War Eagle grits--"the best I've ever had" says the wife (I'm not a grits guy). Service was very personal and fun, everything was extremely fresh and tasty--whey you ask for "soft-poached eggs" that's exactly what you get (in contrast to most places where they seem to feel poaching eggs is not what they want to do). It's in a Best Western motel, but seems to be run by food angels. I'ts a great place for breakfast, but not "one of the best meals I've ever had in a restaurant" as asked by TripAdvisor--that's an impossible standard for all but a few restaurants worldwide.

We have Thanksgiving dinner there year and food and service is wonderful. I usually have to make reservations 2-3 weeks in advance as this place is busy.

We eat at this restaurant several times each visit. It always has a very fresh salad bar with a great selection. Great breakfast and also great lunch buffet on select days. When we are at a loss as to where to go, this is always the standby because we know we are going to get great food at a good value.
