Description: Welcome to Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse. Your hosts, Lisa McMahon and Bert Jones, invite you to experience the warmth and hospitality of their authentic 1860’s log cabin. Built by John Gaskins in 1864, the original cabin has been home to many great memories and is now the core of our restaurant. We take great pride in the quality of steaks we offer. Over the years, Gaskins Cabin Steakhouse has been honored with several awards including “The Best Steak Around Arkansas” and the “Best Overall Restaurant in Eureka Springs” by the Arkansas Times Readers’ Choice Awards. We feel that eating well is an expression that encompasses your entire dining experience. Creating memories is what we do and we look forward to adding to yours.

My husband and I have been coming to Gaskins Cabin for two or three years. We NEVER miss going there while in Eureka Springs. The staff, the owners, the food. It is all spectacular. I recommend this restaurant above all when people say they are going to Eureka Springs. The prime rib, the filet and the ribeye are spectacular. The appetizer cheese tart is great. We have never been disappointed in anything or anyone at Gaskins' Cabin. JUST GO...YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.

Gaskins has the best Prime Rib we have ever tasted! Not only the preparation but the cut of beef make this the very best! We make a point of seeking out fine Prime Rib opportunities in our travels and when a local real estate agent - thanks Kyle! - recommended this place we were sure to add it to our travels. With a lovely atmosphere, and hands-on owners this one is a sure thing. The Mushroom soup was to die for - really the best anywhere. We did not know they use a different standard of measurement in the Ozarks, or at least at Gaskins, because when we ordered a 12 oz Prime Rib special (Wed & Thursday special price that was still moderate but well worth it for what was received) we were served what is really about 16 - 20 ozs back home! Lean and beefy with the "unmisteakable" flavor of slow roasted Prime Rib, this is a treat you won't want to miss.

If you are visiting Eureka Springs, be sure to spend several days there to enjoy the fine cuisine. We didn't have a bad meal - quite the contrary - we enjoyed three distinctively different and all delectable dining experiences. But, if we were only going to be there one night, Gaskins would be our first choice.

Wow! This restaurant far exceeded my expectations! Stuck out in the middle of nowhere, it is a little fine dining oasis. The escargot is excellent, as is the prime rib. Make sure to arrive early to avoid a long wait. I would not dream of returning to the Eureka Springs area without visiting Gaskin's!

We were in Eureka Springs for our third wedding anniversary. Gaskins was recommended by the owners of the cabin that we were renting. We had seen the advertisement for Gaskins in the past couple of years and had been wanting to try it out. So glad we did! One of our favorite things to do is experience good food and wine. It was such a wonderful experience! Starting with the beautiful ride to get there. The ambiance of the restaurant including the history was wonderful. Then the wonderful smoked trout with dill spread and capers for an appetizer followed by one of the homemade soups (cream of asparagus) the best we had ever had. Then a nice salad with the homemade salad dressing along with fresh baked bread. Entrees we selected were filet and strip steak both cooked to perfection. They hand cut all of the steaks. Also known for fabulous prime rib. At the end we even saved room for some chocolate bread pudding. Don't miss out on the same experience we had. You won't be disappointed. Forgot to mention the wonderful service. We were seated and given all of the history by the owner herself. She checked on us a couple of times through our meal and our waiter was fabulous as well.
