I have received massages at all of the hotel based spas in Eureka. Suchness is my favorite. The New Orleans Hotel (Suchness is on the ground floor) is also a nice historic hotel in a wonderful location.

What a wonderful place to seek not only massage therapy, but also chakra light therapy, and other curative body treatments. The staff is friendly, extremely competent and offer state of the art oriental and western therapies, along with wide selection of body and facial lotions, oils, and salves.

The spa owner, Cat Zorok, has a true gift for healing, and her spa reflects the serenity and respite of her soul. As an added bonus, the spa also carries jewelry and clothing she designs, inspired by her frequent journeys to the Far East.

A true source of relaxation and retreat from the outside world!

As a 'seeker' of bodywork and seasoned traveler, I have logged my hours in some of the finest Spa's around the world and give this facility the highest rating.

Suchess Spa is a gem!

Nestled in the New Orleans Hotel (cira 1890's) the hotel (on the National Register of Historic Places) remains fundamentally original. The staff is great and always willing to please. The hotel is clean and includes sizeable jacuzzi's in all rooms. This hotel is centrally located in Eureka and in my opinion, the best location in town to enjoy this quaint shopping village.

Now for the Spa...

The spa as a wide range of services all priced affordably. Along with a staff of excellent massage therapists, I highly reccommend the Crown Chakra work by the Spa owner Catharina. If you have never experienced energy work this is something you should not miss!

This spa uses very high quality all natural products in their bodywraps and facials. These products are available in the spa as well.

You will also enjoy the Suchness Ambiant Art Gallery where you will find original treasures from Tailand and a designer clothing line (one of a kind hand loomed silk orignals) with a Thai influence created by Catharina. Being a Corporate professional, I now own a half dozen of the various shirts...eveywhere I go I am always asked about them..they are truly individual works of art. You will also find one of a kind jewelery pieces to complement you clothing purchase.

Historically, I have reccommended this facility to dozens of associates with excellent feedback.
